Sonic Generations:
A relatively unchanged rerelease of the original 2011 title, and while that isn't a bad thing, I certainly would not call this a remaster. Aside from the few new collectables in the stages, and the minor dialogue changes which i appreciated, this is the same old amazing experience as it was in 2011.

Shadow Generations:
Absolutely what the future of the Sonic series should strive to be. The quality and polish on all fronts is at the top of it's game in this entry, and I really hope to see this carry forward. The level design is engaging and endlessly replayable, the open hub world is a joy to run around in, and the characterisation and story is, while limited, very endearing and so fun to see.

Overall, this is an amazing package with 2 of the best entries in the Sonic series to date.

It's honestly a shame that this game is filled with right wing propaganda, because I really enjoyed the gameplay. It's an overall solid boomer shooter that is drastically brought down by it's insistence on shoving it's questionable and outright racist and homophobic political views in your face.

An extremely well made 2D platformer, similar to Donkey Kong Country Returns in looks and feels. This game also includes one of the most engaging level select overworlds in a game I've seen, giving The Legend of Zelda vibes with its exploration and puzzles. Definitely one of the greatest 2D platformers.

A very fun and charming 3D platformer that, while still having most of the same issues as games from the era, manages to perfectly capture that nostalgic and fun feel of classic 3D platformers in a fun way.

One of the most disappointing bundles of missed potential in gaming. Boring level design, horrible writing, and weird physics for Classic Sonic. The only saving graces of this game are its visuals, which is kinda useless in a boring game, and the music, which absolutely keeps up the trend of Sonic having killer soundtracks.

While launching off with a REALLY rough start, this game has really come around to honestly be the best Halo Multiplayer experience of the series! I'm so excited for the future of this game and the series.

Truly the worst Sonic game to date. Clearly a mobile game turned cash grab with horrible physics, level design, art design, and nostalgia bait.

A great collection of games that, while missing some obvious quality of life features, is still the best way to experience these classic titles.

A great step in the right direction of the series and a hopeful glimpse at the future.

This was a very silly and cute game with a much more emotional story and surprisingly deep criticism of today's society than I expected from it.
