This game is unplayable on Linux as when you try to save the game (or the game autosaves), you get a "Something went wrong error". While a save does appear in the save menu, once you restart the game, the save will be gone,

This looks like a lovely game, but it is unplayable on Linux/Steam Deck. Will refund.

Bloomtown is a very nice JRPG game, in the same family of Chained Echoes and Sea of Stars, but the story is quite different, but interesting. You might not get hit emotionally like you did in Chained Echoes, but it is nice and simple story.

The gameplay was quite good, I would have liked a better explanation for the demon catching subduing mechanic, but otherwise it is classic turn based combat with characters that have specific classes, spells and roles. But you could do changes to that due to the demons.

Works great on the Steam Deck and the music is SUPERB, AWESOME, AMAZING. The music is what first drew my attention to the game and after that the gameplay.

I do like this game, but as I was playing, I had some glaring issues that really ruined the experience until I found a "fix". I preface this by saying this might be a me issue.

I loved Horizon Zero Dawn. Such an amazing great game. Had no issues with the controls, everything worked great, loved the bow fights and everything.

Here comes Forbidden West. I turned off all Aim Assist things in the settings (as I did in Horizon too). From the start, I felt the game "fighting" me when I tried to aim, it all felt clunky and horrible and I just thought, "I am bad at this game or smth is wrong with how you shoot the bow". I also had issues with dodging, the camera moved weirdly and sometimes would get stuck in a weird angle which made fights horrible. I spent almost 30 hours like this.

Then I found the solution in a mod from Nexusmods called Gameplay Tweaks. There are 2 options you can turn on in the file there, that are NOWHERE in the game settings: FocusMagnetism and CameraMagnetism. I put them on TRUE and suddenly, I had no more issues with the combat, with aiming, with camera, it all felt smooth.

This is unacceptable to me. Clearly to me, even with all aiming stuff on off, the game was STILL trying to aim for me and it felt horrible. This makes it a bad PC port to me.

Then, the mounts. The land mount gets stuck in almost anything ALL the time. The flying mount (which you get super late in the game imo due to MSQ) also just feels like a land mount with wings, which doesn't get stuck in stuff on the ground, but also can't actually properly fly over things as you'd think it should do (you have to ascend in a straight line to get up and when you try to fly at that speed, it dives back down. Cool, cool cool cool cool.

The story is nice, that is an aspect I like in the game. That gets a thumbsup from me. There are some moments where I am frustrated with Aloy, but I understand why. The writing is top-notch and the side quests are great too.

I am not done with the game, I will finish it, but with the sales going, I thought I had to put the issue I encountered in a review. Maybe they are others that encounter that or is a dealbreaker for them (maybe they don't want mods, which shouldn't even NEED to be a need to have).

This is a pretty good game overall, but I'd like to give it a neutral review if it were possible, mostly due to the gameplay.

The game is interesting at the start and the gameplay is there to take you along the ride for the story,,, but my problem was that it got pretty boring after the 3rd cafe you work in (and you get 10 or so). Especially after you figure out how to optimize your prep time, it's really just a clicker simulator that you cannot rush.

The story itself is quite cute and I liked it, especially as you get a few different facets of it as you play.

Game can be played with one hand if you use a mouse, but you need all the buttons/fingers on a controller or a Steam Deck. The game does work great on the Steam Deck, but as a mostly noob with a controller, I got overwhelmed REAL fast when I tried to play on it due to having to use all the buttons.

If you expect something like Coffee Talk, this ain't it. Only the story part is kinda like that.

I've played this game since Early Access and I've liked all the updates the devs have made for it. If you've always wanted Subnautica in Space, this is it. With some terraforming ofc, Lots of building options, lots of crafting and surviving. It does sometimes feel like a walking simulator in which you explore this world you arrived in.

The game does not have threats aside from the classic survival aspects (air, food, water), so that might put off people,

All in all, I like this and it's a good game. I'm close to 100% achievemnts.

The game is great and I really liked playing it. I will come back to it for expeditions and updates. It doesn't work that amazing in co-op, but it's decent enough (mostly quests not synchronizing).

Otherwise, the devs did a great job of keeping at it and putting out free updates to make the game what they promised on release,

This is a very cute and short game. Very lovely, a bit like Stardew, but with fishing. It's not long, I 100% in 3 hours, but it's nice.

Also great to play on a Steam Deck for a quick session or two.

Early Access Review
This is a great take on the survivors genre, it brings it's own unique twist and I really like the inclusion of the mining mechanic.

Works great on the Steam Deck as well, though the text is a little small.

Such a great and chill game. You unpack boxes while looking over the life of someone and how they go through different phases of life.

The music is also very relaxing.

This game might seem simple on the surface, but damn does it have depth and substance. It kept me tied to it until I finished 1 ending. There are several to go, some can be very short.

The music track for the game is also amazing, I still listen it from time to time, it's that good.

Highly recommend the game if you like narrative games with some puzzley elements, that has great writing and music.
