Pretty dang great, especially for the price. It's the shotgun method - at least one of the game is going to hit, and for me that's Velgress, Bushido Ball and Vainger. I REALLY want another Vainger.

I keep flipflopping on this review. At first it was the locale issue causing all the images to get randomized. That got fixed day-one so I was totally cool with it. However as I've been reading through the Fate route, there's just this big glaring issue. The further I go along, the more typos, grammatical errors, mistranslations, and outright lack of translations keep popping up. It's starting to feel like this release had ZERO QA work done on it at all. It's frustrating to see.

Absolutely one of the best games of 2023. Overwhelmingly fun, light-hearted, and stylish and a total joy to play from top to bottom. All of the characters are treats and Chai is almost Fry from Futurama levels of lovable doofus. It'd be so amazing to see more of this world from Tango IF MICROSOFT DIDN'T SHUT THEM DOWN FOR NO REASON.

I wanted to like this game. I REALLY did. But there's just absolutely nothing to it. It's just landing on an empty, uninteresting, randomly generated patch of a planet, walking for god knows how long to get to an empty, uninteresting, randomly generated location, and do some empty, uninteresting, randomly generated quests. Maybe you can scan some empty, uninteresting things along the way.

What about the stuff that isn't randomly generated? Flat. Boring. Devoid of anything interesting at all. The people you talk to are just lifeless and fit right in with the lifeless scenery. The companions are awkward and not fun to deal with, the story is totally unengaging, and the gameplay is rote. If it seems like I'm talking in circles, it's because I just want to stress how much NOTHING is packed into around 140-ish gb.

And it's all broken up by more fast travel and load screens than all of the other Bethesda games combined.

If I had to say something nice about this game, it would be that the ship building is really interesting. In a game that ISN'T Starfield, I'd be totally down for it. But in Starfield, there's no reason to bother, because no matter what kind of ship you build, you're just going to be using it to access load screens and fast travel. Might as well just make the cheapest, most efficient box possible.

Skills are even more spread out, and even ones that should be absolutely mandatory have to have points spent on them. More timewasting. I don't even want to get into the pointless, annoying base building.

Maybe at some point in development there was an actual idea, here. Maybe in however long it took from this thing to go from conceptualization to realization there was a purpose, but there isn't any of that, now. This game wasted my time and wasted my money and I'll never get either of those back. Any kind of future content or any community-made mods that could be added to the game would just be slapping paint on top of something that just isn't worth coating, and they'd have to completely and fundamentally change the game for it to be interesting.

The game is amazing, but I absolutely cannot recommend it due to the completely predatory DLC pricing.

Addicting as hell and I miss Sana.

Really great, fun, and SUPER cute. Holy crap, wasn't expecting this at all and they should totally do more of these! A+.

Pretty great game! There's a little bit of jank and I'm not really a fan of how often it likes to restrict you to 2d sidescrolling, but overall this game is great. It's super fun to run around and do things, most of the cyber space levels are good, and I absolutely love the writing. Seriously, all the characters feel pretty dang amazing.

There is nothing in the game that gives you any indication that characters rotate their availability. Spent all my time on one character only to log in and be met with the fact that I can no longer play that character.

Played two tutorials in which nothing was explained, and then a match in which nothing was explained and then sat for half an hour listening to fifteen seconds of a badly looped celtic song while the rest of the game downloaded. I got to around 75% before the music just made me close out.
