The game has been abandoned by the developers and the player count is dwindling.

Devs wouldn't know balance if it kicked them in the face.

Gameplay is mostly good, but don't expect your base to last long without constantly being deleted or rolled back by their garbage servers.

It's not the MMO that was initially promised, but it is better as a single player with co-op than being dead and abandoned. I got my original moneys worth, and I'm still going to stick around playing. It's an easy game to pick up when you get the urge, play with some friends, then drop again when you get bored or other games come up.

PD3 is not only a steaming pile of horse crap, it's a cheap and lazy cash grab. Play Pay Day 2, instead. Graphics aside, it's by far superior the superior game. It also works.

Stay away.

Fatshark is far more interested in having a working predatory cash shop than a working game. Cash shop in on day one, while several features not even ready to go for launch.

At the very least, it still beats Diablo 4.
