I paid all of $0 and still feel like I got ripped off.

The game is so much better than how it was at launch, and I respect that they have put in so much effort to make it better over time. That said, I still cannot really recommend the game, unless you can grab it for a fairly hefty discount. It is getting there, though, and I feel may be able to recommend it in the future.

EDIT: Still don't recommend it if so long as it costs anything. $20 battle pass puts the nail in the coffin for me.

Destiny 2 used to be a great game, but it's barely even a shell of what it used to be. The past few years they have been running it into the ground, though. The most engaging content that they ran has all been cut, and for the past year or so they have been removing more content than they have been creating. Classes and weapons are horribly balanced, and they've started resorting to the same FOMO BS that been ruining every other online game the past several years.

Not the most fun to play alone, or with random people, but if you have a group of friends then it's an absolute blast!

Fun game to just pick up when you've got nothing better to do. Game pace is fairly laid back, so even with casual play PVP can still be moderately enjoyable.
