This game is at best a shadow of its former self. it had great personality and did something unique, now its just another cod warzone daycare. do not get this. all the cool videos and clips you see are from a time long gone. it was nice while it lasted...

great game, however i feel like all the updates are mostly just , add new stuff forget about the old. theire still great tho.

Multiplayer imo is a complete disaster and extremely disappointing. its basically "play singleplayer but at the same time". you cant build bases together, you cant fly ships together, freighters are pretty locked too. you can at most visit your friend and play your sp session while they play their sp session.

TLDR: Only buy this if you wanna play it alone, if youre looking for something to enjoy with friends this sadly isnt it

wait another year or two, war and diplomacy are by far the worst out of any paradox game. economy is servicable, historical accuracy is not there at all, every nation essentialy feels the same to play. only consider purchase if they ad an actual war system not this wis version of hoi4.

great survival game, the mental health mechanic is such a sellingpoint for me, its done really well. also devs care and keep updating it for free. defenitaly worth the price.

maincharacter is great, looses his wife, gets lost in the jungle and mildly injured. first thing he does, mix up some ayahuasca and go crazy

as soon as update 8 dropped multiplayer fully stopped working, especially crossplay is a huge pain now. support wont do anything neither is there any solutions by the devs

Paradox is a greedy company that wants hundrets for dlc. their games are good, but they seem to care less and less. if youre not already in the paradox sphere dont get in at all, give your time and money to a company that values it and doesnt just greedely exploit the fact they have no real competition

launcher sucks tho, keeps geting worse

Come back often after seeing a video about it, just to remember why i never play this 1 hour in.

-if you want a good rpg, just play new vegas instead.
-if you want post apocalyptic basebuilding and faction management just play kenshi instead.
-if you want a bethesda experience i guess jut playskyrim intead.
-if you want skyrim with guns just play cyberpunk instead.

Nuka world was kinda cool tho and mods kinda saved it

No steam workshop, game is fine just feels like a better looking stripped version of the first one. honestly the game is fine tho. Removing steam workshop in order to push a useless paradox modmanager so console players can have mods is just stupid. i hope this is a unique case and they dont do that to other paradox games. theyre my favourite but without mod support through steamworkshop there wont be a community and the game will be forgotten.
