Everyone complains Barbaros is OP or GM Sniper is OP or the new units are OP then leaves either at the start of the match or after one round where the losing team got murdered and it ends after 4 minutes of playing. The daily and weekly system has poor rewards and the beginner event is time locked to stretch it over a month. People seem to keep having connection issues, crashes or the white screen of death on load leading to even MORE disconnects. No skill based match making leads to some matches where one team gets absolutely dominated with no breathing room, more people leave as a result. Ranked locks you out of playing Casual if your MMR is high enough. (This was fixed in an update) Theres no Seat filling for leavers in either casual or ranked. Theres no way to test units before you buy them or view them and their kit in practice mode.

I dont think the game is a very good competitive hero shooter. It has a lot of little inconsistencies that may or may not annoy you. I really only enjoyed it cause I dominated people as Zaku II Ranged, a unit people seem to write-off as really weak. For hero shooter fans, I think most will switch over to OW2 when it releases in Oct or go back to their preferred hero shooter. For fans of competitive games, I think there's merit to this game if you enjoy dominating people who don't normally play this type of game; at least until they disappear. And for Gundam fans, I think most will give it up after a month or two or whenever the next Gundam game on PC happens.

2023, January: Leaver problem is still the biggest issue with this game. Dailies and Weeklies still haven't gotten better. Connection and crash issues seem to have been fixed. The population has shrunk enough/enough people know how to play the game that matches where one side dominates hard aren't really as prevalent but it still happens. Still no seat filling for disconnects/leavers. Still can't demo units to see if you like em. Zaku II Ranged continues to get nonsensical 'balances'.

2023, October: Game's ending service in 34 days. With this final season, it makes me wonder, was this game designed to only be out for a year? Other then fixing crashing and disconnect issues, none of the other complaints I saw were ever addressed. Looking back at it now, it really does feel like this was a quick cash grab. Something to put on the books at the end of a fiscal year. Its a shame, because I still think whats here is fun and worth keeping the lights on for the few dozens who still play it. The price of servers for those people can't honestly be that much, can it? Among shooters, Gundam Evo wasn't anything special, but among Gundam games its one of the few shooters, and the only competitive focused one. I think theres merit to that.

DRAGON'S DOGMA 2 BABEE

Trashy Seasonal Anime but in Video Game form! Depthless romance but cool and cute character designs await ye. Theres a bit of Summon Night Swordcraft Story in there too. Translation is rough, feels like a first draft tbh (ice element is labeled as spark and thunder element is labeled as chill. Equip is translated as 'Make Backup'.). 30 FPS locked which sucks, but I don't really expect higher from visual novels with lite combat and exploration.

I give it a A-grade Moonspear Vilius out of S-grade Keyblade Gallia.

EDIT: Just finished the game, Make sure you finish your romances by chapter 5 or 6. Yes you gotta grind a bunch for it but theres no post game and youll be locked out of stuff around then.

I can't believe Barron Blade and BCW are back AGAIN.
