If you like ARPGs and soulslikes you'll enjoy this, but I hate it so much I just uninstalled it.

Basically it's just too hard, and unforgiving. (yea yea skill issue bla bla, grow up..)
I just wanted to casually play a nice ARPG, build up my character, like I always did in PoE 1, but I realized slowly, that I am playing a soulslike in POE clothes.
One hit mechanics, dodge rolling, failing an entire map if you die on them, mobs respawning in campaign after respawning, long and kind of delayed ways for you to attack, making you rage because of 1 stupid mistake you made in a 15 minute run, these describe soulslikes for me and I hate soulslikes.
Dodge rolling is the worst mechanic that the gaming industry ever came up with. What do you mean I can just dodge roll and suddenly a huge slam will not deal damage to me?
You die on a map, exceuse me, waystone ONCE to anything, you fail the WHOLE map, you fail the waystone (not mentioning the XP loss, which was in poe1 as well). The fact that you have 6 portals that you can only utilize if you cheese the system by spam-pausing the game to press the "return to checkpoint" button if you think the situation is too dangerous (or just to clear your inventory) I think that is just so lame.
Getting Res-capped is super hard, thanks to essence crafting being the only kind of reliable crafting in the game yet.
Hopefully the next season of PoE 2 will be better, and I hope you will enjoy it. But I didn't

1500 hours in the game, I don't understand s#!t, but I love it. 10/10 would recommend.

I don't understand why and how, but my city is still managing to keep on after surviving through city lvl 5 to 10 loan to loan.
