Are you kidding me? Game breaking bugs due to super poor scripting in 2024? Just wow.

Wow, 2/3 of the time watching cutscenes, 1/3 actual gameplay. Way to go.

Very boring (flying around in circles to avoid being hit and pressing shoot whenever possible..) No clue why this is rated so good. Maybe interesting for super casual gamers.

It's a buggy mess. Avoid at all costs!

Will not start unless patched from external sources.
Has a myriad of bugs (solid black character textures on certain settings, solid rain you can't see through, ...).
Worst thing: It somehow crashes on certain NPC encounters -> had to stop because there is no manual fix for this.

Game deadlocked itself after like 5 races (did not receive money) but am forced to buy some stuff to be able to continue and leave garage.. Great...
Apparently this is a common and known bug but is still in the game, a year after release.. Well played EA, well played.

Only solution: Delete all existing save games and start anew.. Exiting..

The autosave features tends to corrupt files (just google it). Play it only if you are ok with losing all your progress sporadically..

Must have a played a different game than most of the reviewers.

I can see some potential in the general idea of the game but the controls and physics in its current state are a joke. Riding feels super awkward, either with a joystick or with the keyboard..
The rider will inevitably crash on any impact with even the smallest object (e.g. cones). This in combination with the idea to introduce a certain amount of lives to complete certain areas feels like an idea straight out of 1990..
Slide and trick controls are pretty random as well, there is just no way to execute super precise maneuvers.
The default (german) keyboard layout is pretty funny as well. Use Z to accelerate, C for tricks, Shift to lean and the arrow keys to steer. Yeah that sounds totally doable. Has anyone tested this ever? :-)

Stay away if you expect any kind of polished game. If you enjoy unprecise controls and ridiculous physics this is the game for you.

Play this only if you are hardcore Gothic fan or if you want to punish yourself. It is that bad.

Funny for about 5.8 hrs.
