I've played since early access and I'm enjoying it. Lots to explore, some gorgeous visuals and no performance issues that I've seen. I have had some pop in with long draw distances when on planets but that doesn't really surprise me.

There is plenty to do and this really is a game where you shouldn't rush to complete the main campaign but just allow yourself to get lost. There are no timers so take your time.

There are not many games out there which allow you to set your own goals and just let you do whatever you want (such as steal all the sandwiches). This one does and it's fun to just try something silly like that.

It's fun, enjoy it but don't expect it to be an elite dangerous type spacesim. There are elements that are similar but are (IMO) better designed as you're not reliant on RNG.

I keep getting my rear end handed to me. This is the submarine version of DCS World and I love it.
While the base game is good, the epicmod for the game takes it to the next level. Worth buying in a sale, you'll have fun if you enjoy tactics and learning about sonar and weapons systems.

I thought this game would be a silly diversion for about 4 or 5 hours but it's actually a lot more than that. There's a lot of unlockables, things to explore, cars to fix, test, spray, etc. It's actually a fun diversion and something I have put FAR too many hours in to!

So far I have never managed to achieve anything I've set out to do in this game because I keep getting sidetracked! There's a lot to see, do and learn. It's the ultimate sandbox really. Do what the hell you want.

I want to like it, I really do. I love the idea of this blade runner-esque world but it has way too many issues to keep me interested. So far, in 12 hours I've had:

NPC's siting in strange places
NPC's walking through me.
NPC's vanishing.
Cars vanishing.
Lights turn green as soon as you approach them.
Enemy NPC's facing away from me and shooting a wall.
Enemy NPC's flickering in and out of existence.
Scared NPC's cowering in the middle of the road.
Weapons showing a DPS of 0.0 until they are selected.
Crashes, my god, the crashes.
Food vendors you can't buy things from - until act 2 when you can buy from some but not all.
Missing audio.
No mouth movement during some audio scenes.
Poor audio balancing issues.

There are probably others I've not come across.

EDIT for Patch 1.05
Nope. Still not worth it. Still many issues. I'll come back after the big January patch.

EDIT for Patch 1.1:
This was a major patch? Oh dear. I only played for 30 minutes and still hit the same bugs as before.

Okay, I never had any crashes this time but everything I listed above is still there and to add:
I shot a driver and stole their car, they vanished when I shot them.
NPC's moonwalking when I try to run them over
Police beaming in whenever a crime is committed.
Skin showing through clothes.
You can shoot tyres, they don't go flat.

Overall, my reaction to this patch is "meh". I'll come back after the next one.

The big question - is this the game that was demoed at E3? NOPE.

Okay version 1.2 is out and nope. Still crap.

First launch and I noticed that the launchpad itself doesn't talk about 1.2 but I went into the game anyway and I thought I'd hit ctrl-enter to try to get the game into a window so I could type this but it brought up a menu behind the screen that I just couldn't get to. oh dear.

Second launch, I went in to the game and watched it rain. The rain effects are WEIRD. If you're under a bridge no rain, okay makes sense but you can't HEAR the rain either. Just silence.

Watching the rain trickle down a car looks more like an oil slick than rain. It's WEIRD.

Finally I came across a crowd of protesters so I stole a car and drove in to them and NO ONE REACTED. Even the police just stood there so I took out my gun and I couldn't aim at them. The gun kept refusing to point at them. Even my katana didn't do any damage.

Sorry but 1.2 is still not giving us the game we were promised.

1.3 - After reviewing the patch list I uninstalled the game.

I played this before and gave up on it. This time I decided to stick to it and try to learn it properly and damn does it have a good story, good characters and that famous witcher lesser evil. I have actually struggled to decide which side to pick. Yes, it's quite old now and some of the dialogue and animations are a bit clunky but the world does suck you in. More than once a quest has referred to a book that I've picked up but not read so I've realised that I really need to read the books, understand things to get that deeper appreciation.

11/10 - would battle monsters in the sewers for coin again.

I've had this DLC for a while and just did my first special transport and it was damn cool - having the police block the roads, the escort vehicles are awesome and it's pretty easy to conduct the job. You cannot rush with these tasks so sit back, enjoy the journey, follow the escort vehicles and have fun because this is great!

This is not a typical far cry game. This one is insanely cool with some amazing music. It's the only game where I've stopped the massacre just to listen to the singing :-)

It's a superhero game, you have the entire freaking universe to play with, an interesting story, lots of powers and weird looking aliens to blow up plus a great sountrack. What is not to like here?!

I'm 8 hours into the game and I've barely scratched the surface, the depth to this game is amazing, the story is fantastic and I'm really getting into it. I'm also enjoying playing as Henry, this poor, naive, god fearing peasent with delusions of grandeur and I find myself routing for him by being him, wanting to pay back my debts, wanting to defend my people and wanting revenge.

I love this game, I'm enjoying the atmosphere, the people, hell, everything.

There are a few bugs, it needs some character animations fixing and it needs some optimisation but this is a REAL game, not one of these piles of crap churned out by the triple-A devs year on year. This is the real deal - thank you devs!!
