NIce looking game, fun to play. Blow a lot of stuff up, not much thinking.

Feels like a simple mobile game on the PC. Fairly quick to finish. There are better similar free games, but if you get it at 99 cents on sale, it could keep you occupied mindlessly for a short time.

Not really a game as such. Just swim around looking at the beautiful sights. I finished the game in an hour and a half and didn't feel the need to replay. Good if you are looking for a relaxing, non-challenging experience.

Unexpectedly good. Great for a casual play. Quick to load and play, so perfect to pick up for a few minutes at a time.

You walk around. Gotta paint the walls and floor as you go so you can see where you are going. After a while the game stops.

Addictive, fun. Feels like real life, get up, water some plants, pat the dog, chop down trees, spend the rest of the day fishing, evening at the pub drinking and playing arcade machines, then off to bed. Occasionally try to win the affections of the opposite sex with a nice gift of seaweed, get rejected, go to pub again.

Seriously? You are looking at reviews to know whether to get this game? Just get it. Once of the greatest games ever made.

Visit planets. See alien life. Mine stuff. Good fun. It does get repetitive after about 20 hours. Just not enough variety. It feels like the developers made sure that the planets were not too extreme, and by doing so made it feel similar for every planet. So you would probably get 20 hours of fun out of this - don't expect more until they udate this. I did have a fun time with this game. Not sure I would recommend it at full price, but if you can get at a discount...

To improve this game the developers need to make more extreme variations on planets. They need ones with no life, ice, gas giants. They need ones with no outposts. More height variance. Oceans of acid. Thick dense jungles. Even the film Interstellar had more planet variety. Forget base building, multiplayer - make it a race to the centre of the universe where you have to survive by exploiting the resources of the planets along the way.

Edit 2 year later: The game has got much better over time. So much more has been added, and the storyline has made it more focussed. A cruisy game, worth getting on sale. You may still hate it, but you will be spending much more time in it.

Felt a bit like Bastion, but I actually found this more enjoyable. The design is just great, I love the origami look (the landscape reveals just feel better). A gem of a game, hopefully more people pick it up.

This is one bad game. I could not make it work under Steam and had to play externally (so ignore my Steam time shown). Took effort to make it rack up enough time on failed starts in order to be able to write this review to warn others. Please do not buy this game. Read the other reviews.
