Okay, so this is absolutely not a perfect Sonic game.
It has its "OMG that's SO GOOD" moments.
It has its "meh" moments.
It has its "wtf is this nonsense" moments.

But in comparison to all that painfully childish stuff ~ like candy levels and cartoonish new villains ~ they've been putting up in the past several years, this game, man... From its very first seconds, where you walkalone and confused, under the rain, while sad piano music is playing, it hits different.

Is this Sonic Adventure 3?
It's... close.

Rough start, but it's getting there.
Slowly, yes, they are but a few people and Big Daddy Paradox is probably not helping all that much, but seeing what they did before (Skylines 1), I really, really want to believe they can do a No Man's Sky with Skylines 2.

✓ Caused Valve to temporary change Steam refund policy
✓ Was burned to ashes by critics
✓ Did not die, did not give up
✓ Rose from the ashes with dignity
✓ Is actually a good SpaceSim now
✓ Has some bare bones and small bugs
✓ Is in active development, regularly updated with new meat for the bare bones
✓ Absolutely beloved by me for its dreamy atmosphere and fourth-wall-breaking lore 🤯💥
✓ Totally recommended to at least check out, give it a few days trial

OST серии Silent Hill - например треки "Chiral Carcass Culling" и "The Timefall"
OST серии Mass Effect - например треки "The Face of Our New Hope" и "Cargo High"
OST Коннора из Detroit: Become Human - например треки "John" и "The Drop"

Ценителям вышеуказанного зайдёт.

В целом настроение саундтрека мрачно-задумчивое с нотками просветления, надежды и счастья. Можно сравнить в общих чертах с саундтреками недавних частей Deus Ex. Соответствует духу игры.

Качество альбома, предоставленного для скачивания, несколько разочаровывает (MP3 320), могло бы быть выше.
Особенно заметно, например, на треке "Chiralium". Боль упущенной возможности дать нам FLAC или что-то подобное.

Say whatever you want about it.

Yes, there are annoying fake buildings everywhere that your Sim cannot enter.
Yes, you have to wait through a loading screen if you want to visit a neighbour next door.
Yes, there are tons of small DLCs.
Yes, there are no cars.
Yes, the towns are so small that it somewhat justifies the lack of cars (you simply don't need transport, there is a Bicycle if you really want it).
And yes, there is "My First Pet Stuff".

However, there is just so much more in terms of building houses, creating a Sim, general stabilty of the game (I am yet to experience a game crash or a significant bug), perfomance (stable above 60 FPS with full max settings), superfast loading times, overall contemporary vibe of the game...

That there is simply no comeback to Sims 3 for me, despite having several hundred hours spent there years ago.
I still love Sims 3, don't get me wrong, but sometimes good things should remain where they belong - in good memories.

And here's hoping that Sims 5 will satisfy everyone.

The game is good.
This negative review is purely for protest against insane pricing policy.
Hopefully it'll make someone think.

Может ли DLC с музыкой действительно стоить своих денег?

...сейчас, по прослушивании этих волшебных треков уже в сотый раз, мне подумалось, что 79 рублей - это неприлично мало. Чудеса должны быть дороже.

А понравилась.
Хоть я и с отвращением отношусь к насекомым, эта небольшая бродилка определенно более милая, чем гадкая. Графический стиль необычный и приятный для глаз. Все пространство вокруг насыщенно множеством маленьких деталей. Музыка расслабляет и прекрасно подходит к картинке. Время не ограничено. Можно просто потыкать на своего жучка. Релакс.
Головоломки относительно не сложные и проходятся даже с удовольствием. Затруднение у меня вызвали лишь две - "шашки" и подстановка силуэтов к цветку - и то потому, что вначале было не вполне очевидно, что от меня хотят.
К сожалению, игра огорчающе короткая: всего пять уровней. Хочется еще как минимум один или два.

...может быть теперь я не настолько ненавижу насекомых.

Преступно затягивающая.
