This game is a lot of fun. I played a lot the first few seasons, and it's enjoyable to climb the ladder. Very flashy graphics, in the same vain as MTG: Arena. Since this game is cross-platform, you can play on your PC, PS5, Switch, Phone, etc. with no holdups. It's fun to check out the different archetypes in the single-player campaign, and they offer a decent challenge. Yu-Gi-Oh is a hard game to master, and takes a while to learn all the mechanics. This game does serve as a good introduction, though.

I'd say this game is worthwhile to play if you're a newcomer or just getting back into the game. If you want to play in real life, I'd recommend choosing a simulation that has more flexibility in the rules and card pool, such as: YGO Omega, Dueling Nexus, Duelingbook, YGOPro, etc. On the aforementioned sims, you can play with TCG rules, OCG rules, custom formats such as Goat, and more.

Overall, this game is a great introduction to the game of Yu-Gi-Oh, and many people play it alongside the TCG. I'd say to give it a shot if you want to play a game with a lot of depth and complexity, and this is probably a good place to start if you're familiar with other games such as MTG. Also, it is completely possible to play this game without spending any actual money. There are plenty of opportunities to earn gems if you log on daily!
