Ok, so Teyon strikes again ! this time, with yet another childhood favorite. Did they nail it ? yeeeeah, kinda'

Theme is on point. The Auto-9 sounds beefy and neat, but I get why it disappoints hardcore fans. ( maybe they can add the available original sound effect as an extra option, like with the skins ) Murphy's footsteps sound perfect. Some of the voice actors and side-missions are a bit underwhelming, but I gladly overlook it. Just being able to roam the streets + various levels immersed in this walking tank and blasting crooks is extremely satisfying ! the gore is also amazing.

* Serve the public trust : Needs more work. The game is severely buggy & unoptimized. Plenty game breaking bugs sadly.

* Protect the innocent : This remains to be seen, if they continue patching the game & maybe giving us a new game + mode.

* Uphold the law : I'll take this as respecting the lore. And YES, happy to say that they DID !

Corporate Greed ruined Mortal Kombat...

So, why does it suck now ?
- They've scrapped the Kyrpt & replaced it with a boring checklist simulator Invasion Mode that nobody asked for
- Under WB. they've continued this horrible Live Service Microtransaction model
- They've AGAIN tied progression with said Live Service model & offered us boring half-baked ugly skins and challenges for " rewards " Like seriously, only 5% of them look somewhat decent, the rest are just lazy color swaps that don't fit the characters at all. The best ones are LOCKED BEHIND A PAYWALL ! []
- The voice actors did a well enough job ( excluding Megan Fox ofc. ) But the Marvel like story with its infinite multiverse bs. makes less sense than usual. Missed chance of a proper REBOOT !
- The absolute most insulting and DUMB decision they've made is regarding Second Local Player not being able to Equip Skins. Like seriously.... what were they thinking ?! Previous MK entries didn't have this issue. Do they just assume EVERYBODY plays Online nowadays ?! I bet loads of people ( like myself & my friends ) have the time tested habit of playing Locally !! You can't equip Skins you GRIND OR PAY FOR !! WHY ?!!

The actual fighting mechanics are good, the Kameo system is fairly ok [] But man, did they bone things up with this one. At first, I gave them a chance with the rough launch, with the bugs and missing DLC harvest characters.... but it's all just too insulting & SERIOUSLY feels like a giant CASH GRAB. I'm gonna hold off from buying the next MK game, until I see some BIG CHANGES. Ed Boon, FIX YOUR SHT !

crazy fun Indie game ! Indie game of the year for sure. If you love sushi, just get it !

Awesome game, dumpster fire port ! Runs like my exhaust after Indian food and crashes constantly. Stick it back in the oven... it's CLEARLY not done yet !
