The review is about translation as game is good but the translation is so bad it might become the reason why you don't want to play it.
The game was translated by Shlock (shlock if you want, which perfectly describes them) and translated poorly. The company "stylized" the game even though the in the Japanese version names were already westernized and the game was already family friendly. What they did is they changed a lot of names for no reason (a cute engineer girl Shareia suddenly became BRACKEN) which makes it pain to play with Japanese audio, added lots of "baby talk" which might make you think that they made it to make the game more accessible to children (even though a dozen lines baby talk only "dialogues" is pure torture) but then you meet heavy use of British English that even native speakers have trouble with let alone kids. And it's not one or two places of "quality" translation, the whole game is translated like that.

If anything it seems like it was an incompetent team in charge of translation thus they replaced the dialogue with their "stylized" (bad) version to cover their inability to make quality translation that is both readable and respects style, tone and meaning.
