really addictive and deserves GOTY because of how innovative it is

amazing free game, gameplay is fun, it has plenty of platforming section which some people might not expect, BUT the boss fights are really really good. The Dev is also great, still constantly fixing bugs even though this game is like 2 years old (i read the patch notes before playing the game and it was really funny and the game is even funnier).

Anyway it's free and it's not even 2GB and it took only like 2-3 hours to finish, so go try it!

A Really really good roguelike deckbuilder, the mix of RPG and Deckbuilding is really well done and the Story is probably the best among all roguelike games.

There's 20 characters 21 if you count Lucy with their own sets of skills (cards) and some if not all characters have different playstyle that you can mix and match with other characters since your party can have up to 4 members in each run. There are also equipments for each party member and relics (passive effects for whole party) so there are a lot of possibilities for different kind of build which is really fun to experiment with.

The game is a bit too easy on normal difficulty (i completed my first ever run and even got commented by one of the characters that i shouldn't be there) but the Hard mode adds more depth making the game harder but it's not frustrating.
There's also Easy difficulty if you want to learn the game slowly and if you want to focus on the story i guess?

The story is really good, the mystery is well done and it gets me hooked instantly the first time I played this game. It reminds me a lot of Danganronpa in a good way but that's probably just because i miss that game.

My only complaint with this game is the UI is quite bad, the UI feels so cheap and sometimes it's not showing enough information.
For example it took me quite a while to realize that Rare skills have Red strips instead of the Golden strip before the name of the skills, the strip is so small so it's hard to notice if they even have different colors in the first place.
Another example is one of the characters uses a doll named "Eve" and can do stuff if the doll is on a party member, Eve can have 2 stacks and skills will have extra effect if Eve is on 2 stacks, but it's hard to tell how many stacks Eve have. Apparently Eve glows more if she has 2 stacks, which is acceptable but kinda hard to realize if you don't pay full attention to Eve's icon.
But the UI is not really that bad either, it's just feels so basic but after a while you'll get used to it.

Overall a really good game if you can handle the Anime style (i know some people don't like Anime style), I hope this gets more recognition and i hope the devs will make more like this. 9/10

fun character and good new music, but i'm stuck on the first zone because i just came back from the game and i suck at it.
i have no idea why it's really cheap.

A pretty good mix between fantasy and slice of life adventure, the way they handle the reveals bits by bits makes the game very interesting for me and the Ending is pretty sad but with a satisfying conclusion. The artstyle is gorgeous if you don't hate pixel art. And The Music is okay, i don't have much to say about it.

Now the main issues with the games are how the puzzles are too easy to solve, thus making it feels like it's just slowing down the story. And the gameplay is also pretty slow sometimes, especially on the final climax, ruining the pacing a little bit.

But other than that, the game is great, i'm not a fan of "indie games with depression stories" because there are too many of it, but i really enjoyed this game.
Also it seems like you get an extra scene after the credits if you collected all the achievements because there are only 3.5% players that has gotten the final achievement meanwhile there are 26% players that has gotten the last chapter's achievement

TLDR: The game is great, minus the occasionally slow gameplay ruining the pacing of the story a little bit.
Overall Score: 8.5/10

This game was so good until the 4th area where the enemies are badly designed and there are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ traps everywhere.
Not to mention the 4th boss where the arena have so many traps, homing projectiles and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ laser beam which can trap you in a small area with traps which makes the game so tedious to play.
I finally beat the 4th boss and go to the 5th area, and i am so disappointed that there are even waaaaayy more traps, and every room is just traps where you have to do platforming with enemies chasing and shooting homing projectiles at you. Basically the further you're in the game, the newer areas are just traps and platforming, so little fighting with enemies that have unique movesets.

TL;DR: The game starts fine until there are just so many traps and platforming instead of new enemies with unique movesets. Good luck trying to fight enemies with 80% of the room are moving spikes that damages you.

Very generous for new players, you get a lot of gems to buy packs and you can make your own deck without paying a single cent, tho the gems dry out after a while, and it's kinda hard to get them if you're F2P.
At least that's what's in my thoughts before the events, now you can get around 4000 gems (40 packs worth) by grinding in the event duel, and it only took like 2 hours if you don't have good decks and just play a certain deck to grind the rewards.
And sometimes they just give you a lot of gems from just logging into the game!

TLDR: It's generous to new players and F2P players, you can make decks without paying a single cent, and without grinding too many hours by participating in the events..

It's a really good Story-Based Card Game. It isn't very hard but not too easy either tho i've only beaten 1 card game before (Slay the Spire).

It's developed by the same developer of Pony Island, (SPOILER FOR PONY ISLAND) which means you'll expect a lot of 4th wall breaking stuff. And damn they're so good.

And apparently they're currently developing a roguelike mode for the game! which you can download for free by following the instructions in the update announcement.
