Think of a rogue-like but it looks like Windows 95. As you get farther into a run enemies will start minimizing your windows to mess with you which I think is a cool detail.

At the end of a run (or in my case death, complete with BSOD) you're awarded gems that you can use to unlock various stuff to apply to your next run(s)

you can also spend gems to make you mouse cursor a lil gauntlet 10/10

I put down a patch of grease thinking the gnolls I was fighting would walk straight forward into their slapstick doom, but no- those punks found the tiniest bit of path around it and proceeded to maul my sorcerer that happens to look a bit like Mark Twain.
