A movie based game that is actually very good. If you liked seeing Max destroy vehicles and beat up warboys on the big screen then you'll want to play this game and try all that for yourself. This is a large open world with quite a few side missions and objectives to distract from the main story. Upgrading Max and the vehicles was my main goal throughout the game and it was a glorious finish when using all abilities and upgrades during the final fights of the game. After a while some of the side missions became too monotonous and kept me from getting to 100% completion, but 44 hours of play time had me at 85% completion at the end of the main story. This game is an excellent addition to the Mad Max franchise and I recommend you play it. 8.5/10

Batman: Arkham Knight is bigger and better. Of course I wasn't able to play the game the first four months after the release, but since the patch everything has ran great on my 660ti. Traveling around Gotham City, gliding in the air or driving in the Batmobile, is the most fun of all the Batman games. Even though the map is huge, no fast travel is needed because of the upgrades that can be applied to the Batmobile and to the grappling hook. The main story is intriguing and there are some fun twists and turns. The Most Wanted missions add great distractions that still tie into the story. The riddles are more challenging this time around since you have your normal gadgets in addition to the abilities of the Batmobile. For 100% completion I spent about 40 hours and enjoyed every minute of it. 9/10.

This game is a blast. I just finished this cooperatively and it was about 9 hours of challenging fun. The story was just okay, but the gameplay and puzzles were fantastic. Trying to figure out how to use Lara and Toltec's abilities together to get past obstacles or obtain power-ups was the highlight of the game. I haven't tried single player, but I can't imagine it would be nearly as fun. The best part was both of us running around, jumping, climbing, and dying trying to figure out how to complete a challenge. The feeling of success afterwards is glorious. Buy this game, play it with a friend. 9/10.

I've completed 3 playthroughs of this game and it will never get old. Huge improvements from Arkham Asylum gameplay and a solid story to go along with it. The riddler trophies are a bit too much at 400 total and take an incredible amount of time to collect them all. Still, in the end this game is a solid 9/10. The Harley Quinn's Revenge DLC is short but a nice addition to the story. Nothing too special but adds a couple extra hours of entertainment.

I've completed about 3-4 playthroughs of this game and it never gets old. Great story and solid gameplay make this first entry into the Batman Arkham series fantastic. The riddler challenges are fun and sometimes challenging and the challenge maps can get very tough if going for 100%. Great game! 9/10.

For the first time ever, Metal Gear Solid is open world... and it's AMAZING! The main story mission is short, but has high replay value. 1 main mission, 4 side ops, and 2 extra ops all play out on the same map, but with different goals and objectives. Each has a Normal difficulty that needs to be completed to unlock the Hard difficulty. There are time trials to be unlocked and cassette tapes to be found. I completed each mission numerous times, sometimes super stealthy, other times chaotic! I paid $10 and got 20 hours worth of playtime out of this great game.

Despite it being short it is a great prologue that will get anyone excited about The Phantom Pain coming this fall. I would highly recommend Metal Gear Solid 3 and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker to be played prior to this; However, it is not entirely necessary since they do try to fill you in with a summary and audio tapes. Play this game! 9/10.

Short DLC that took about 3 hours to finish the story and obtain all the achievements. The new suit is awesome and the story is good, but again, very short. Would recommend when on sale for less than $2. 8/10

Although this wasn't done by Rocksteady, this is still a solid game in the Arkham series. There weren't any drastic changes from Arkham City except that they made the map bigger. The story is great and the boss fights are challenging and memorable. All of the major bugs that were present when the game was first released have been fixed; there are just a few minor bugs remaining. Overall, I recommend any fan of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City to give this one a couple playthroughs. 9/10

This game is a lot of fun - even with the fact that I hardly know anything about the Lord of the Rings universe. I was attracted to the game because of the open-world similarities to Assassin's Creed and the fighting that reminded me of the Arkham games. It was good to see that Shadow of Mordor made some improvements on those elements.

The Nemesis System is definitely what makes this game unique. However, that system would be much better if there was a difficulty option. Because the fights were not all that challenging, the Nemesis System never had much of a chance to shine during my playthough. The real fun came after I beat the game and was attempting to obtain all the achievements. That was when I was able to really see all that the Nemesis System was capable of. I am really looking forward to seeing what other games will do with this concept and how they will make it better. 9/10.

Being given the option to play in Low Chaos (Stealth) or High Chaos (Action) is what makes this game fun. You are rewarded with exploring the levels and completing side missions by being able to ugrade your weapons and abilities. This game is worth multiple playthroughs as it can be played completely different each time. I chose to go for Stealth a lot of the time but still ended up with the High Chaos ending. A good story with great gameplay made for an enjoyable 20 hours. 9/10
