I followed online guides to optimize my game by editing BmEngine with Notepad, and I followed all the steps right then saved. After launching the game, none of the changes I made took effect. There is still depth of field, bloom, fog, and the game doesn't look like it's running on DirectX 9 like it should be with my edits on the file. What do I do now?...
