I know that story has never been the key feature of Monster Hunter game. I have been playing this series since P2. However, the story and the way it executes its mission have been straight up insufferable. There are some many trailing missions that I feel like playing Assassin's Creed.

The new UI has been atrocious.WHY is the skill detail hidden in a sub menu? WHY every single time I start a new side quest, I have to skip the notification to get to the map? WHY it auto locks to a large monster when I try to pin to a mine on the map?

New combat system is good so far, but I wish there were more armour and skill to fight for. It is hard to get excited when all I see are Weakness Exploit and Agitator. Old system that ties weapon specific skills like Focus and Artillery to certain armour set makes crafting armour so much clearer and easier.

That being said, I still love the feeling of hunting again. With the upcoming update with new monsters, I hope this game will be better.
