The best story based space game since Mass Effect. It's been too long.

They still have a ways to go in terms of giving basic gameplay more depth, and I would like to see cities and civilizations from the other species to give the planets more life, but this game has already shown it has the ability to go to infinity and beyond.

A game that never gets boring, a lo fi game to chill to on any type of day you're having. You can feel the love it was made with.

Dont Nod has had me hooked from the first Life is Strange game to Before the Storm and now this. Each game has had different mechanics and aspects that i loved and hated but they always stay true to what matters. The ability to roam and interact with objects, experience every conversation with choices, see the consequence and have an Oh **** moment when you do something and it has the wrong effect, and best of all see your choices compared to everyone elses decisions. Wrap it up with an interesting story line and BAM!

Love it, brings back all my feelings from the first game and it's better than I expected. The soundtrack and small things really make the game. I would spend another 30 mins roleplaying Dungeons and Dragons again :P

Lets get straight to it...

Pros:
+Good story + lots of decision making
+Elevator music
+Lots of planets/solar systems to explore
+Pistols are one of the best guns in game
+Shotguns are bae
+Great character customization
+In depth Squad control and they have their own unique dialogues + backstory.
+A bunch of interesting side quests
+You can choose to fall in love with an alien

Cons:
-I cannot express how much the autosave is absolute trash... It saves often enough that when you die you can go back to a good 20-30 mins of progress. Which makes you self conscious enough to manually save every 5 mins. I have cried, raged and quit the game multiple times for this.
- Glitchy environments = 80% of the reason why i need autosave to work. I got stuck behind railings, i slid down a mountain and there were barriers everywhere preventing me to move, and the Mako vehicle got stuck a couple of times and i had to reset.
-For a civilization that can travel through space at the speed of light across the universe, the elevators are slow as hell.

There are different categories that makes the game different when you replay it. It's fun, but it feels like a grindy more career based version of The Sims.

A game that puts your dodging skills up to the test and when you die it gets extremely frustrating, especially when the death screen mocks you.
