Even if the optimization was good;
* The menus are still horrible.
* To even view your own gear you have to run to the tent -> go to equipment tab -> click edit equipment -> click a button to view stats -> and then tab between 4 different tabs of information to get all info about your equipped gear.
* You still cannot tell if you have too many of any perk, the game will say "3/3" even if you have 7.
* The weapons are only slightly different compared to previous iterations.
* Playing with friends has 3 different party systems, and "open-world" only makes a difference if you are the host because everyone else still gets loading screens.
* The story contains a massive chunk of forced unskippable on-rails walking simulator.

Best 3rd person shooter I've played in a long while.

Still kinda garbage

There is still some ways to go, but this is already better than the latest Battlefield.

Good fighting genre game with a side of weeb airhockey

Great game, 10/10. I hope they continue to add to it or create other similar titles.

Update:
After said 2 years passed, Darktide is now pretty good :) Vermintide 2 still has it's place, but Darktide also deserves to be played.

Honestly, just play Vermintide 2 until the two years it usually takes FatShark to fully fix their games has passed.
