Phenomenal game. Absolutely one of the best city builders I've ever played bar none.

I've given this game a few shots to right the ship before posting a review. It's been months now and issues that were there on launch STILL plague this title. Also, holding back modding tools so they could put them on their own launcher for the sake of consoles was a monumental mistake. It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shame that this is how the CS series is going to end. But they're going to have a herculean task trying to dig out of this hole. I'll change my review if they ever do, but I'm doubtful at this point.

Game is badass. Time to spread Democracy.

Edit 1: Changing my review from positive to negative because of them trying to require you to have a PSN account in order to play the game. I will change my review back to positive once they retract this retarded policy.

Edit 2: Managed Democracy succeeds again. Good job Helldivers, we staved off the Sony bot menace and as promised, my review is flipped back to positive.

Good gun-play with procedural generation for maps for missions. Very cool concept.

Unrepentant weeb fuel.

Good enough game to appeal to non-weebs like myself.

It's a Bethesda game through and through. If you've played Fallout or Skyrim you've played this game. Nothing really innovative about this game. Bethesda tried to play it way too safe and are depending on the community to fill out this large empty game. Launch plagued with typical Bethesda bugs. Kind of makes you wonder what they were doing with the delayed launch time.

Conclusion: Wait for a sale. Or wait a year or two once Bethesda fixes the game fully and modders have built out the rest of the universe.

Overall 5 maybe 6/10. Would give a middling review if I could instead of positive.

Edited: Changed to negative because I don't really feel it deserves the positive rating. Also the 2.0 update of Cyberpunk makes this game look pathetic.

Decent MMO with the most interesting combat I've ever played in an MMO. Fair amount of MMO bloat as you would expect with a game that has been out this long in this genre. Not exactly boss focused like most MMO, more mob grind focused. For better or worse lots of chase items, like the infinite potion. A great looking game as well but optimized terribly. 4090+7800X3D barely nets above 100FPS on Ultra.

NEW PLAYER WARNING: Starting this game in 2023 is like drinking water from a fire hose. It can get overwhelming very quickly. But, as personal testament, it is doable.
