I'm going to keep this review spoiler free:

It may not be as good as the Fallout classics (The RPG ones - Yes Fallout 1 and 2 - Also yes I'm old), Fallout 4 comes "out of the non-existing box" with a temperamental Creation Engine riddled with wonky bugs, crashes and glitches (which can be both experienced, enhanced and fixed with mods - more on that later) and a main questline that's seen by many as uneventful and linear.

That being said - I think I like Fallout 4 for all the WRONG reasons.

The game's side-quests are fun, even if I have played them 10 times each already, it took me years to actually _stop_ finding new areas with quests that I for some reason skipped.
The first eight playthroughs, I'd play Fallout 4 just because 'I never went to that area of the map" only to discover another set of interesting NPCs, settlements, questlines or all of the above.

In classic Bethesda style, the game holds your hand by providing you with a familiar route back, or the obscured smaller path that points in the other direction. This is a sandbox RPG and Fallout 4 handles this better than the hand holding we saw in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. There are comments from NPCs (all voice acted) that you discover only if you play the game differently next time.

To those already familiar with the game, if you ever decide to play again . Try to NOT walk down the path home.
Ignore the quest marker and do not talk to Codsworth... Ignore his snobby ass until the end of the main quest line, Yes, there is a pretty long dialogue scene just for that and I thought it was entertaining enough to always do it from now on.
Heck, be super edgy and make it to Diamond City without rescuing people in the nearby town first.

I want to rant about how modding both Skyrim and Fallout 4 can lead to some of the most customized experiences. But I'm tired now and so are you probably... I'll condense the modding section to:

"it takes practice, determination and a whole lot of bouncy butts."

Nah just kidding, modding Skyrim and Fallout 4 have been incredibly educational. I've learned things about how games work, from meshes, textures and I've got a wrinklier brain than Isaac Newton when it comes to female physics. I'm now working on mastering just how thick a 'T H I C C' set of female thighs are. Will update review when done with study.

I recommend this game, may my friends have mercy on my soul.

I raged hard when I played this years ago because I failed at multi-tasking and micro-managing my crew, Bomber Crew had me cursing out loud and my own inept brain short circuiting when 6 things were happening at once.

I'm used to flight sims, or at least games where there's some level of Artificial Intelligence for the crew, but that's not the aim of Bomber Crew.
Losing my crew for the 5th time in a row, I slammed my fist into the table I almost broke it and vowed never to return.

I got Bomber Crew for free in 2022, I added it to my account because guess I have turned into somewhat of a masochist now in my later years. I was greeted with the same reality, My poor crew kept dying, but I wasn't deterred this time.
Little by little, I played it safe. Mission by mission, my crew kept coming back alive, leveling up and getting better in the progress. I'm getting used to micromanaging everything now and I'm actually having a good time.

Is Bomber Crew GOTY material? Not at all.
Bomber Crew is however a cute little game where you get attached to some mumbling little 3D Duplo people like they are your tiny little toddlers stuck in an Airplane in World War 2 and you have to tell them EVERYTHING on how to make a successful bombing run.

I hate this game and it's too dumb to hate me.
The game puts up with me, I put up with the game.
A little better for each hour I play.

And it's somehow fun now.

I have one complaint that I feel could be easily implemented.
Reversing the Left/Right mouse buttons. Right click to move, Left click to deselect.
That's what I'm used to, and that's not what this game had.

Thanks for reading!

Kind of timeless, really... With a captivating single player story beyond any of the previous GTAs which were good for their time.

Oldie but actually still kinda fun. I don't care about the story and it feels like it has 0 value from the few cutscenes I haven't skipped but the game itself is fun and just slightly repetitive.

This game has no ads, and you also might learn a thing or two about coding.
Sure the 'pretend to be a hacker' scenario is kinda cheesy, but BitBurner is still a game that makes me wish I was smarter and inspires me to learn more.

I didn't think I'd enjoy this game because I didn't know what it was. Then I tried it. and I loved it.
Yeah, this applies to all the other games I decided to not try and ended up liking.

If you haven't played this game, and you own it, you should try it, you might like it.
If you haven't played this game, and you don't own it, I don't know if you'd like it.

It's like, Warhammer, but it's like Left4Dead.

I didn't like Left4Dead, but I liked this.

I haven't got very far yet, but for a free to play Diablo-esque hack and slash RPG, it's very nice.

Possibly the most perfect World War 2 RTS to date.
