I bought this back when you had to buy the package deal to get Ostefront so I decided to pour some time in this, and I will say that there is some pros to this game such as buttery smooth vehicle handling and I like that unlike Ostefront or the Men of War games, you can aim anywhere and shoot without the weirdness the other games I mentioned have.
But the game feels incomplete and the biggest turnoff and tanks being seemingly invincible, atgms cant seem to kill a tank unless you hit a moneyshot in a weird spot, and tanks have trouble killing eachother. Shooting the top of the turret seems to work best but otherwise shooting the sides or back of the turret or tank, or other unmentioned weak spots just doesnt do anything

70 hours in and I got my first win, this is a W for VinierKind

Theres aspects to this game like the industries, growing cities and the token system, However there are things I dislike and those things outweigh the positives enough for me to not enjoy playing the game. First problem I have is mainly with interacting with the gui, its messy, bulky and at times unresponsive. Second is a problem not unique to Mashinky but its still an apparent problem with the game and that is fast forwarding time and the relative speed of the trains to that speed. While the trains DO speed up its not by much with how much the clock ticks forward, And I think the consumption of tokens is also disproportionately higher while playing at faster speeds but I'm not entirely sure on that more testing is needed. Its not a bad game but its not something I feel happy about buying right now.

After the initial struggle of building the engine, figuring everything out with the game map what to do how to survive and then lightly modding the game and learning to work MSC Editor, it becomes an addicting game thats had a lot of heart poured into it

Even through the dwindling player base, they have kept adding content to the game, maintaining it and that's highly respectable
