I do recommend this BUT I preferred the xbox series x version because even though the fps on that is still janky at least it ran more consistently compared to this version :[ if there's an update that helps with the whole fps issue then it'd be awesome

I love this game- the pixel art is pretty, you can customise what your cat looks like [even after creating it too], you can mine and farm and do all the standard cosy stuff which makes me froth at the mouth- you can even decorate your home and the outside settlement too :]

This game is awesome- I also really enjoy rise and world but if those are either too fast or you prefer turn based games then you'd probably prefer this one :] The scenery is awesome, riding on the monsters is really fun and finding the eggs to get said monsters is just ahhhh in a good way- I love this game so much that I hope that there'll be a monster hunter stories 3 because if there isn't I think I'd cry [not really because I think I'll like most monster hunter games but still]

TLDR: Get this game- you won't regret it [and if you do regret it then refund because steam is friendly like that]

You hunt monsters, grind to up the ranks, struggle for things you never knew you needed and all for layered armour XD you can then pose in questionable manners and take a photo for your guild card (or you could keep it wholesome I guess)

The game was kind of cute but I'd prefer to play games from the rune factory series or stardew valley over this :[ I had hoped it would've been cute but a lot of the games elements aren't explained clearly and I found the loop quite boring- I didn't much time in though so maybe it would get better if I had unlocked more things? I'm not sure but eh sad

You explore, slimenap some slimes, sometimes combine the slimes, feed chickens and fruit and vegetables to the slimes.... And then the slimes give you plorts. Plorts= money. You begin farming the plorts as much as you can and then expand all of the corrals to hold more slimes- until you're overrun with them :) Very fun game with exploration, farming and sometimes combat if you have tars enabled (I do not because I get scared)

Bought it for the survival smashing element- nearly chickened out when I learnt there were zombie like creatures- stayed for the zombie creatures! Verrrrrry fun : )

This game is so fun!
The only issue I have is when you want to be a cat-like amari, the face/ear option can only be pink and you can't change the colour like you can with the tail.
Apart from that though this game offers everything you'd expect and more for a farming simulator.
The visuals are amazing, the music is awesome and gives each area a unique vibe- even the characters feel different and all of them have their own personality.
There's also some combat and magic as well as a skill tree which can unlock more stuff to do-
If you like farming, cute characters, having loads of pets and animals or just exploring a fun filled word then you should definitely try this game :)

Slime rancher is a really cute cozy game to play. I generally preferred playing on casual mode because I'm a chicken and the tarrs would probably eat me up like one too XD. There are a variety of cute slimes (the honey and puddle slimes are so adorable!) and you'll always find yourself exploring new areas or unlocking new things. Hopefully there will be an update sometime soon to add even more joy and wonder in to this fantastic game :D.

The game is quite cool in letting you create your own character with a lot of customisation and you can make them do a lot of things.
