Game holds up well, is a good spot to start the series seeming as its a prequal to RE1. All in all a fun game and worth playing if you're a fan of the series.

Hollow Knight Silksong

Silksong smashed every expectation i had for it, and it is no doubt a worthy successor to Hollow Knight.

everything Hollow knight did, Silksong has refined and improved. After getting my 100% save file I can say confidently that this game is one of the best I've played.

something that I think Silksong does much better than Hollow Knight is the map and areas that you visit. Hallownest was a very gray , dark and unsaturated place with some exeptions like crystal caverns or greenpath. Whereas with silksong almost every location is brimming with vibrant colours and it really helps to catch your eye

Hornet is really fun to play as, with her fast movement and unique crest movesets and silk arts. I much prefered playing hornet over the Knight.

Silksong has tons of content and it will take most casual players atleast 80hours to get through it all so you definetly get your moneys worth with this game only being $20.

Hollow Knight: Silksong is a perfect sequal to an already perfect game that manages to outdo its predecessor. I 100% recommend this game 10/10 masterpiece.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Expedition 33 is one of the most polished games I've ever played, fantastic combat, absolutely stunning areas, professional voice acting and one of the best stories I've seen in a video game.

Turn based combat is something I'm not familiar with and not very used to, but this game has made me interested in trying other turn based games, even though I'm aware the combat isn't as complex as this, with the parry and dodge buttons. however I still enjoyed that style of combat. The way this game included a parry button and dodge button made me feel very involved in the combat, rather than clicking a (ATK) button and watching my character do the move, I was involved in my characters attack if I missed the timing my character would fail the attack and that made for a more involved combat system, Enjoyed it a lot.

This game has some of, if not the most stunning graphics and locations I've ever seen in a game before, every corner holds a beautiful area.

Expedition 33's story is very immersive with very emotional moments and twists and turns in the story that you will never see coming. The voice acting and motion capture is up there with some of the greatest like GOW.

And I can't fail to mention the spectacular OST this games music is one of the greatest game soundtracks I've heard.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is one of the greatest gaming experiences that you can find, I would 100% recommend it. Can't wait to see what Sandfall Interactive make next!
10/10 masterpiece.

Elden Ring Nightreign

Nightreign was an unexpected game that had me questioning if it could even work, but I'm glad to say it does although it's not perfect it does offer a fun time.

This game is really fun your first go around, the build up to getting to a nightlord and seeing that new big boss. Is the main takeaway I got from this game.

Personally I found the game very repetitive once I finished the game. and after defeating all the nightlords, I feel no pull to come back and play more. The builds feel all the same and with the map hardly changing inbetween runs It feels like you're just running around limgrave for 80 hours over and over.

the roguelike element of this game was handled very poorly theres no unique interesting builds that you can jumble together with different synergies. And all the weapons of their respective class, all have the same moveset. Once the effect of the new content and bosses wear off this game is left with no more meat on its bones.

However that first experience of playing the game with some buddies is fun, This game really feels like it is a glorified mod of elden ring.

Elden Ring Nightreign is a fun first time experience especially with friends but a terrible roguelike. I would only suggest this game if you really liked Elden Ring and just want some more of it. 7/10

Resident Evil 3 feels like a more arcadey game, it doesn't really have the atmosphere that the other resident evils have I was never on edge or tense during this game.

This game is fun and is very easy to run through with a run time of like 3 hours once you're familiar with the game. I did enjoy my time with this game but I would suggest the other resident evil remakes before this one.

This game nails the atmosphere I look for in a survival horror.
Being afraid to go to the next area when u know Mr.X is wondering around, makes for a very tense experience and a very memorable game.

This is a must play if u enjoy survival horror games.

God of war Ragnarok
God of war: Ragnarok, is fantastic in some places and a slog in other places.

This game takes the combat formula that GOW 4 used and took it to even higher highs. The combat in this game is my favourite combat in the series the combos are impactful and you feel like every swing of the Leviathan axe or whip of the Blades has weight to it and it's very satisfying. As far as combat encounters go this game has achieved greatness.

The set pieces in the game are fantastic and leave a lasting impression after finishing the game. The scorched desert of Alfeim, the lush forests of Vanaheim or the Chilling landscape of Midgard. These locations are a marvel to explore and walk through.

In terms of the enemy variety which was a big complaint from the community when it came to GOW 4 . This game fixes that in bunches, there are plenty of enemies and unique mini boss encounters through out the game, you never feel like, "oh here we go this mob again" . The dragons from the Crater, the Einherjar from Asgard to the Beserkers found across all the realms. The enemies in this game feel unique to the realms they inhabit and don't feel copy and pasted like they did in GOW 4. So in terms of enemy variety this game is a significant improvement to the prior.

And the DLC is a big fan call back to the Greek saga and gives some more context to Kratos mind and how he looks back on that time. The DLC is great.

However my main gripe with the game is the narrative.

Whilst I feel the narrative is adequate I think it falls short, It definitely has its moments for sure,
but the segments where you play as Atreus and his whole story fell flat I didn't feel immersed in his story I just wanted it to be over so I could go back to Kratos Pov.
The main end battle (Ragnarok) was very underwhelming considering Norse mythology I was excited to get to the event, but It felt as soon as I got there it was over. Thor and Jörmungandr's battle was a background piece that some may have overlooked. The Ragnarok event felt rushed and considering its the name of the game I expected something greater and more grand. I'm not sure if this game would've been better in two parts to give time to expand on the elements of the story that feel more could've been done.
However as it stands the narrative does wrap up the Norse series just fine. I just would've appreciated some more in terms of big events and straightened out the Atreus segments so that they're not so boring to play through.

I do recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of the series, if you can deal with 5 or 6 hours of slow boring gameplay and narrative split throughout the game. If you enjoyed the combat in GOW 4 this game gives you plenty more of it and better.

Hollow Knight

Hollow Knight is a gem in its genre, a kick-starter game from a four person development team snowballed into one of the greatest games of the metroidvania genre.

hollow knight's maze like level structure is masterfully created every corner leading you further through the interconnected world bringing you to more secrets and loot. The games core progression is seamless and whilst the player can get lost in the forgotten crossroads once they make it out the path becomes more clear.

hollow knight's soothing soundtrack helps the world feel alive and gives detail and emotion to the areas you explore, Christopher Larkin created a masterpiece with this games music.

Hollow knight has so much to offer in terms of exploration and challenge, whether you want to uncover the entire map and find all the secrets, or you want to challenge yourself to the pantheons or the white palace parkour trial. Hollow knight has something for everyone who wants to fully delve into its world.

Hollow knight is a masterpiece in everything it aims to achieve, becoming one of my favourite games I've played. If this game has sat in your backlog or you've been interested in it, it's worth giving this game a play.

10/10 game

Elden Ring
Elden Ring is a masterpiece, every aspect I search for in a game is present in this.

Whether you're looking for a game to challenge you with difficulty in bosses and enemies or just a beautiful RPG fantasy world to immerse yourself in, Elden Ring has in my opinion the best to offer.

The game is known for its fantastic boss battles, and it's clear to see why. The bosses are masterfully crafted with complex and interweaving movesets, that will challenge the player to learn and master their moves before taking them down.

Elden Ring has one of the best open worlds ever, heaps of side content and quests to do, and plenty of beautiful areas to explore and loot. And it places its story throughout the world for players to find and piece together.

Elden Ring is the best game I've played. 100% recommend. 10/10
