No Man's Sky is a Space Survival and Exploration game, where you can fight for survival on planets surfaces and fly many different space craft in space and air. It worked on my HTC Vive system, looked good, played good, sounded good. Has some in-game tutorial and instructions as you go along with story. The devs have been good over the years since it's launch to make more Free content updates for this game. There is limited time multiplayer events to play through for each expansion. You have a Normal mode, Survival mode, Permadeath mode, Sandbox mode, and Community Event mode. Has a Huge universe for you to explore. Has 27 steam achievements. Has Multiplayer mode, that is busy. Has crafting system.

It has VR support for 4 HMD systems. I tried it with my HTC Vive, worked ok, with the amount of control buttons the Vive has. The last update had improvements on the VR support. Plays good with Valve Index. Playing in VR is comfortable and doable, but there is some situations that might cause motion sickness.

No Man's Sky is an action-adventure survival game played from a first or third person perspective that allows players to engage in four principal activities: exploration, survival, combat, and trading. Has galactic sandbox of 18 Quintillion planets tallying up to 31,7000,000,000,000,000,000,000 km2, with procedural generated worlds.
