This game stresses me out because every time I open it, I know I'm about to do some work.

It's Into the Breach but in a campaign mode with wizards in military gear. The gameplay, the upgrades, and the characters all feel great, and it's fun to learn both maximizing a character's potential, and combo several characters' abilities off each other.

It's well polished and each level is hand-crafted for a really engaging experience. This is going into one of my favorites for sure.

An interesting game. The ability to modify your die is a great concept and allows for very high customization. The UI is somewhat lacking, but this game has a lot of potential.

Early Access Review
This is a great game. The decision to balance piece cost using morale is smart. There are many different ways to build a deck (a board) and there are tons of unexplored strategies lying in wait.

I can't recommend this game for two reasons.
1. The game is dead. The creator is no longer updating this game and almost nobody is on. If you do get matched against someone, you'll be facing a long-time veteran who has a highly specialized or optimized board. If you face a bot, you'll have a very easy time exploiting its weaknesses.
If there was a large player base, this would be a great game to play. As is, the best way to fix this is to create a vs AI mode. It'll kill the PVP aspect even more but then again it's already dead. May as well reduce queue time for people who want to have a chill time against bots.

2. The main reason I am not recommending this game is because of the creator. The creator is extremely pretentious and also abandoned this game. At this point, they may as well remove it from early access, state it's a finished game, and leave it as is. There's no need to keep this game in EA when every update has been expansions (such as introducing new pieces) or balance updates which happen all the time to already published games. The gameplay is already fleshed out, any changes will be to the monetization, game modes, new pieces, or balance which is within the realm of normal game patches.

It's a great game. One of my favorites. Just dead.

It's a good metroidvania. Combat is diverse and interesting enough. A map is always provided and it'll mark if you no longer have anything to unlock in that map which is such a massively nice qol decision. It really cuts down on the grind for backtracking and trying to find what you've missed.

8.5/10 Very good

Early Access Review
Rogue-like city-builder. You start off with the basics and have to balance villager resolve (happiness), forest hostility (periodic negative effects) and impatience (the lose condition, creeps up slowly over time). You win by gaining reputation, which is earned by making villagers happy, completing orders, or claiming rewards from events.

Each run is vastly different as you start off in a different biome with different workers, get different cornerstones (buffs), and different blueprints for buildings (gathering and processing of materials). One time I won through gathering immense quantities of resources and trading. Another by completing orders as quickly as possible.

The game is in Early Access and the developers push out frequent and appreciated changes. However, don't think it's an unpolished game. The game was great 3 months ago and is amazing right now.

Like most rogue-likes, there are upgrades between runs to make future runs and harder difficulties easier. My only complaint with the game is that it's a bit slow and the meta-game isn't too interesting, but this is being addressed and a minor complaint in the grand scheme of the game.

8.5/10, highly recommend if you like roguelikes and/or you like management games.

Well designed game. Each run feels very different as there are several heroes each with several different upgrade paths, and various artifacts.

Good game, really sucks up your time.Sometimes it gets overwhelming -- when that happens focus on only one thing at a time. You'll have done much more than you expected because you'll also have spent much more time than you expected.

Also, play the demo if you're not sure. There is a lot of content in the demo and if you like it, you'll like the game.
