This game is unfair, its game play is tedious and frustrating and some parts could only be designed by a lunatic.
If you value your time I would suggest any other game but despite that, this is one of my favorite games.
I was gifted this game out of nowhere by a friend who just said "I think you will like this game" and they were right.
The story is a slow burn and is incredible I love the setting and after finishing this game the first thing I did was immediately launch the sequel to this game Library of Ruina.

The biggest strengths of this game has to be the variety and creativity in the monsters you manage in this game
you can tell the game is a low budget game but you can still see the talent in the art direction and art.
The Music doesn't have any big memorable tracks for the most part but what it has is really good backing tracks that make the visual novel parts of the game so much better.

the biggest downsides of the this game are its very grindy, the game expect you to restart your play through several times and sometimes you make a decision that you later would realize completely dooms a potential run you spent lots of time getting to that point. The optimization is also a little iffy as later in the game it can start to drop in frames as more and more stuff is on the screen at the same time. The game play isn't for everyone its brutally hard but I think the struggle you feel as a player makes the story a lot more enjoyable for me at least.

I think its worth it, if you really commit to this game is has a lot of interesting depth in its story and setting.
