Come try out the new Poison mechanic rebalance!

Enable it by starting a custom run (the plus button next to the start run button) and checking the "Poison Damage Rerolls Dice" option. As you may expect, it means that any time a poisoned face is rolled it deals damage, reduces its poison value then rerolls the dice. All of a sudden the swamps are a lot more dangerous and provide many more opportunities for combos.

While you're at it make sure to unlock the holiday event dice!

Bug Fixes:

- Fixed hover text going offscreen in certain cases

- Fixed softlock in tutorial

- Updated the description for the Attack for Diversity face

- Fixed action text for Add Poison Increase by N

- Fixed dice pips rendering in front of UI occasionally

Improvements:

- Adjusted enemy characters' balance values to make them target certain dice faces they were previously ignoring

- Added the ability to skip the animation showing/hiding your hand when an enemy is attacking it

Additions:

- Added a New Game+ mode that adjusts the Poisoned Face mechanic. When rolled, poisoned faces deal their damage, reduce their poison value by one, and reroll the dice they're on. This allows for some seriously damaging combos. Try out the mechanic and see how it feels! After playtesting it it may be added as the default poison mechanic for the game.

- Added a news reader that fetches the latest and greatest ToothPike Games news!

Wait, why is no-one else is talking about this game?

I played the demo back during the festival - the core mechanic of 'deckbuilding' your dice with custom faces and using them tactically is really cool. Try the demo, people! Looking forward to seeing how it gets developed :)

Mini-Bugfixes V1.1.1

Happy New Year!
This update contains a couple small bugfixes, but most importantly it extends the New Years event and Kwanzaa event until the end of January 1st!

V1.1.1:

Mini-Bugfixes:
- Fixed New Years and Kwanzaa events not continuing on to January 1st of the new year
- Fixed an issue with the language dropdown saving the previously selected language for the next launch of the game
- Added the current sort mode to the hover text on the Dice Skin Sort Mode button in the customization menu

V1.1.0:

Happy Holidays!
- Added support for a bunch of new holiday events for a bunch of different holidays!
- 42 new dice skins have been added to the game, spread out between all these holidays: New Years Eve, Hanukkah, Christmas, Eid Al-Fitr, Eid Al-Adha, and Kwanzaa!
- For most of these events you'll have about a week for the event, but you can check information about when a current event ends in the Extra options menu so that you don't miss it!

Up first is Hanukkah starting tomorrow the 28th! After that, Christmas starting the 18th and Kwanzaa starting the 26th. Happy Holidays, and happy dice collecting!

Extreme choppy gameplay after 1st playthrough/resetting tutorial.

First time I loaded the game it played totally fine and went through the tutorial without any issues. I did have some confusion related to the mechanics and so in tOptions -> Extra I selected to reset the tutorial. After that, the game became extremely choppy to the point that it's unplayable, Like there is 2 frames of movement every second. Tried restarting, rebooting PC and so far it remains in that state. Any pointers to fix this issue?...

D4 faces too small

Anybody else prefered the demo/beta's "D4 within a transparent D4" approach to 4-sided dice ? The "flat tip" approach makes them too small to read at a glance, in my opinion.

Small advices

Hello devs. So, i have played the game. The first run, which include the tutorial, was fine. The 3 first dices are OK, and the faces given in the tuto are usefull for the the beginning. And thus, even with some difficult fights in later stages, it was doable. Now, i tried another run. After all, i had unlocked some new beginning dice to choose, so why not. And there was the first problem. The unlocked dice are pretty weak, to say the least. Maybe they could be interesting in some special strategies, but a...

What a fun little game.

While the rogue-like dice game has been done before this is a nice simple distilation of it's consepts and feels more casual in it's exicution. This might not win any awards but it might win a spot as my go to time waster. The only consern i have is in the amount of content that can be manufactured for a game as simple as this, with what looks to be only 5 floors there isn't much for a value proposition....
