This game is great. There's some slower sections which can drag on a little too long, but the highs of this game are extremely high! Beautiful visuals and incredibly smooth performance. This is a well optimized game. I definitely suggest playing both God of War 2018 and God of War: Ragnarok. Both great games!

Outside of a few technical issues at launch, this is an absolutely phenomenal remake of one of the best horror games of all time. An incredible game through and through. You owe it to yourself to play this amazing game!

This is an incredibly cool game. It's challenging, but much more forgiving than some other types of action RPG type games. The bosses are all VERY cool in their designs, and the combat is excellent. Visually this game is pretty incredible. If you have a solid PC, these are some of the best visuals in a game yet. Incredible use of visual effects and very intricate models.

There are some issues with the game, but absolutely nothing that has greatly detracted from the experience. Sometimes it feels like when using the item to heal your character it doesn't always register. I had one crash when the game was loading a new area. However it wasn't a big deal because they game had saved right before.

All in all, if the game keeps up as it has been... it will be easily one of the best games I've played this year. Current rating would be 9/10.

Best remake of one of the best games of all time. Play it!

This game is great, and got a bad rap because it's different from the original. This game is very challenging and so fun once you get into the groove of it. It's an absolute steal at the Steam Summer Sale price.. give it an honest chance.. there's a great game here.

**When this game initially launched there were some issues with some visual bugs and some people reported crashing. Insomniac and Nixxes have responded very quickly to concerns raised by the community, and I'm happy to say that essentially all the issues I had experienced have been fixed. The visual issues have been fixed, and I have not experienced any crashing in over 10 hours of gameplay thus far.

-The game is a fun, action platformer shooter with incredibly beautiful visuals. There's lots of different weapons which give you a variety of shooting mechanics some of which work better for some enemies vs others. The story is fun, with endearing characters and a charismatic antagonist to thwart!

Some of the action sequences in this game are truly breathtaking as you travel through portals to other dimensions in rapid succession as you rail grind, hover, and glide your way through the levels.

This game deserves a purchase! This is an extremely high quality game in every way, and the PC port is exceptional. Not to mention if you're into handheld gaming PCs such as the Steam Deck or the ROG Ally, the game runs beautifully on both devices and looks simply glorious on the small handheld screens.

Great collection of all the classic Sonic games!

UPDATE:

Naughty Dog have done extensive work improving the performance and fixing crashing issues and bugs with the game. The game now runs smoothly and is a great experience provided you have adequate hardware.
Naughty Dog are still continuing to release patches and have done an extremely commendable job in turning this around. Glad to say I can now recommend this game!

This is probably one of the worst ports Sony has released on PC thus far. The game itself is amazing, and this new remake greatly overhauls the visuals and options over the original game. There's tons of graphics and accessibility settings to adjust.. but the issue here is the performance and crashes.

This game performs terribly. I have a 4090, and a 3900x 12-core CPU, with 32GB of RAM.. and this game often runs terribly. It's completely CPU limited.. often just rotating the camera around will cause stuttering. There's something severely wrong with the frame pacing.

If you're using a mouse and keyboard it's worse. This game has the same issue that the Uncharted Collection had with using the mouse in that it becomes incredibly juddery... this issue does not present itself when using a controller.

The game has crashed on me multiple times as well.. and not just crashed out of the game, but entirely crashed my PC and restarted it..

This port was not ready for release and shouldn't have released in this state. Naughty Dog have said they've got the feedback and are working on fixing things in upcoming patches.. but as it is I currently can't recommend this game at all.
