Basic spoiler free Reviews;

Quick summary: just finished the DLC, total play time 3hrs 50 mins. Epic journey , Square enix once again strike! Epic boss battle with fantasy graphically feast for ur eyes! Forspoken 2 tease at the end!!! Cant wait for sequel!


PVE:
New pool of enemies with their own new moves set.
New boss with different technique.

Story:
It goes into the root of what happen before the event of main game story. There is more lore to the world, enemies and characters. Do you want to know who is the very very first who started the break , corrupted monster and tantas? Do you want to know why in first place there is war and what was like before the war? DLC explained more in sequences by letting u progress as u find out. It put u into the sequences as if u are influencing what happen and if u can change the future by preventing the break.

Combat:
Cinta join u as a companion this time round. All ur magic does not carry forward, instead u learn a sets of brand new magic. Cinta have her set of skills which allows u to utilized. Some magic is sort of reskin while most others is brand new flashy moves. U are able to learn new spell by spending mana, which again u need to gain by doing open world stuff (more on that).

Gear system:
Ur gear does not carry forward, instead new set of gears u are able to find to strengthen ur magic. Unable to carry on about this without going into spoilers.

Open world:
This DLC is totally new map and area. Its not as massive open world as base game of course but u are able to explore to find new equipments, gain mana etc. U have ur new zip parkour that resembles spiderman swing and improvement to base game fire zip. U need those zip parkour to get to higher area to find gears/lore etc. The open world also filled with things to do but lesser this time round. i can assure u that u will need to explore by treading out of the main path (main quest) if u don't want to die a lot in this DLC. Its because equipment, unlockables is all over the open world.

Graphic:
Same massively flashy skill with some brand new flashy ones. Cinta have her own flashy skills which u will utilized alot. The world layout is somewhat different to base game with new feel to it.

Lastly Cinta is very beautiful, her cinematic screen time is alot in this DLC.
