I bought this for the Steam Deck but i had to drop settings so low that it made the game look terrible. That's just information for anyone whos looking to play it in the Deck. Now on the PS5 platform I have played several hours and I'm not giving the game a negative review like others because to me it's a really gorgeous game. Traversing through the open world using fast fluid magical parkour mixed with third person combat (both magic projectile type and melee style) is a joy and the I love the soundtrack and the story. Honestly I got sick of reading regurgitated BS from YouTube "influencers" (wan**rs) going on about cringe voice acting. Bunch of personality deprived ♥♥♥♥ stains the lot of them. I'm glad I didn't listen to them. The game is excellent and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

I have no idea why, but apparently this game has received a lot of hate. In my opinion this is undeserved.
I have, at the time of writing this, about 57 hours in game, and I expect that to get to around 70 as I fully intend to clear out the map completely (losing cuff-scan made this somewhat harder) - and because I bought the DLC yesterday, because obviously.

I think the game is great, and I am having a great time exploring (and hopefully saving) Athia. It is beautiful, and the number of screenshots I have deemed neccessary to send to my wife is, well, a lot. Give the game a chance, you might be surprised.

It runs well, the mechanics work, it's pretty, the fighting is fun, the vast landscape is desolate and bearing witness of the calamity that has befallen this world. It all works, and I sincerely hope we get a sequel.

Sorry to say I am returning this game if I am lucky enough to get my money back. Either way I will not subject myself to any more torcher trying to get the keys to work the way they are supposed to.
CNTL (hold) with WSAD is supposed to trigger MAGIC PARKOUR, but never works. Two things wrong with this,
1. When first using the skill it should be easy to test out without having to die every other second.
2. The keys need to work.
