To the Moon is a pixel art "point'n'click" (there's hardly any puzzles) adventure about carrying out dying wish for an old man. It's all about the story really. There's not so much actual gameplay but that didn't bother me because I was instantly invested in characters and the story To the Moon tells.
I'd describe it as being a video game parallel for movies like Inception and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Soundtrack blends well in the game and is hands down one of the best I've ever heard.
I paid under 3 euros for it on sale, and this was total steal for the quality To the Moon offers.
It's definitely worth your time and money even when it's not on sale!

Celeste is insanely challenging pixel art 2D platformer about a young woman struggling to overcome her insecurities. From gameplay perspective it's like Ori but on steroids. Somehow Celeste feels fresh despite these types of games have been around since the 80's. Everything is just on point. Atmospheric soundtrack, beautiful art style, responsive controls, not too complicated mechanics, well crafted levels and heartwarming story.
I thought Ori and it's sequel were hard but ♥♥♥♥ me. This has to be the hardest game in history.

Lighthearted 2D puzzle platformer for 2 players. Puzzlewise It's not as complex as other puzzle focused games but don't let this fool you. Shift Happens still offers challenging moments and great fun to be had. Single player mode is included as well but co-op is clearly the way it's meant to be played.
So, get your shift together and buy Shift Happens now!

Tormented Souls honors Alone in the Dark, Resident Evil and Silent Hill.
Fixed camera angles, limited resources and saves, interconnected mansion, puzzles, backtracking, jump scares, multiple endings, bad voice acting, moody soundtrack and more.
This is probably the best old school survival horror experience you can have in 2020's.

Bioshock Infinite is kinda stale compared to Bioshock and Bioshock 2. As a standalone this is OK.

This is a good ending for an amazing trilogy. Threat of the reapers, inevitable war against them and end of the world-like desperate feel is so well implemented in ME3. Admiral Hackett's epic final speech and fleets arrival goosebumped me good.
Mass Effect trilogy might be our generation's "Lord of the rings" but in a video game format. The lore, all the different locations and planets, history, species, love, war, religion, culture and so on..
Mass Effect trilogy will remain in history as one of the greatest stories ever told in a video game format.

This was the one sequel too much. It is so mediocre in every way excluding graphics.
However good graphics alone don't make a game. The word that pops into my mind every time I think Crysis 3, is "boring".

Forgettable story, characters, levels and planets. Borderlands 3 is pretty tired and uninspiring compared to any other Borderlands title. If you forget the name "Borderlands" and think of it as a generic looter shooter it's mediocre I guess.
Two things you should know before buying.
1) The game runs like ♥♥♥♥. FPS drops, lag, bugs, poor texture streaming, crashes and so on.
2) When the game launched Shift wasn't working properly and lots of people were having problems with multiplayer, me included. Now several updates later it's barely working but I still experience horrible lag, random disconnects and other ♥♥♥♥ like that.
If you want a good "Borderlands" title, go for the second installment. If you want lag, bugs, poor performance and other random ♥♥♥♥ go for this one.

Bioshock 2 is a good sequel. Same interesting game world to explore but from a different perspective.
Gameplaywise Bioshock 2 is the same familiar looter shooter mixed with light rpg mechanics. There are lot of improvements and enhancements like the hacking mini game is now better and hacking is done in real time. Also you can now use plasmids and shoot simultaneously.
Pacing is better compared to it's predecessor but the game ends really soon. For me it took ~7 hours to complete, which makes it about half shorter than Bioshock.
I had multiple crashes during my playthrough but again it could be a hardware related problem on my side.

One of the top tier shooters 2000's had to offer. A solid looter shooter with light rpg mechanics and intriguing story left for player to discover. Bioshock Remastered crashed quite alot during my playthrough but it could be a hardware related problem on my side. Anyway if you're new to Bioshock, would you kindly give it a go?
