For $100 I am disappointed. I'll add onto the review if I decide to finish the game.

Pros:
- Only barely less buggy than Fallout 76 at launch.
- OST is nothing memorable but has good orchestration.
- Super cool lock picking system which is my favorite part of Starfield's small number of new features.
- There will most definitely be a future CrowbCat video on this POS game.

Cons:
- The weapons design is horrible. Nothing looks like it would function in real life. They actually made a semi-auto revolver. I'm not kidding. There's a video by ItsYaBoyBrandyBoy called "Everything WRONG With The Guns In Starfield" going into GREAT detail about the complete ignorance behind the design.
- Ship combat is boring, I found myself just holding the mouse down until stuff exploded.
-Ship economy is screwed.
- The whole point of the game is to apparently NG+ as many times as you can but I couldn't even be bothered to finish this title after going off the beaten path only to find nothing new or exciting in the game.
- There should have been some kind of VATS-esque thing included into the game since they bothered to rename Fallout chems and throw them in why not VATS?
- I paid $100 for this KNOWING this was a Bugthesda game and their shady transition thus solidifying my hatred for Todd Howard like Andrew Wilson of EA.
- On launch, the carry capacity is awful.
- On Very Hard difficulty the only difference is that the enemies are more "spongier to bullets" and that's pretty much it.
- If terrain is too steep and you try to slide down it, you will clip half-way through the terrain and sustain extreme fall damage and get flung into space.
- Enemies being flung so hard after being killed that their body gets stuck in the walls/ceilings including my own if I succumb to my injuries.
- Planets are barren and cookie cutter. Cryolabs, automated factories, civilian outposts are all 1:1:1:1:1:1 etc...
- ^ This also applies to the flora, fauna.
- Scanning resources is a pain in the ass. You only need to scan one of each element and go to one of each type of geological feature. Yet; you have to scan at least 7 or so different specimins of creatures and plants to account for them which makes no sense to me.
- This game goes above and beyond the usual Bugthesda experience by really giving us 16 times the mediocrity.
- No space anomalies on launch. No crazy pulsars/black holes/asteroid cities/things you would find in a Mass Effect game for instance. Not even binary stars. They split binary systems up and no two stars are together in the same system even if they are binaries they will all be dual-planetary-system binaries and not centarlized probably due to engine limitations.
- The gun play is very boring. They did not include gore. Nothing tries to offend you in the game except the game itself.
- When I get an incoming transmission and I go to hail it but I pressed 'E' too long and I stand up out of my chair in the dragged on god awful chair swing cut scene.
- Getting overencumbered with no storage space is too frequent in this game which causes fatigue and rapid decay of health to near-zero. Unless you unlock a certain redacted power that gives you essentially unlimited O2/Stam. This becomes extremely annoying to deal with. Certain powers you unlock make certain perks you take in-game obsolete.
- No vehicles. Invisible boundaries (confirmed everythings linked together but its just blocked off probably due to limitations of the engine). No seamless ship travel between worlds or systems like Elite Dangerous features or No Man's Sky. Bethesda dropped the ball here bigtime in my opinion.
- S T A R E F I E L D O _______ O
- No "Galactic Radio".... or regular FM radio.
- HOW TF DO THE VSS, 1911, ETC. WORK IN SPACE? HOW???? GUNS DO NOT WORK IN SPACE. BETHESDA GOING BACK TO THE COUNTER STRIKE / HALF LIFE DAYS.
- Lackluster loot and gunplay. Kleptos will be disappointed.
- Half the quests are just "go get the 3 batteries and put them in the wall", "Go do side missions from the board".
- No pets or wildlife or anything crazy like that INSIDE OF big cities or major landmarks or even minor outposts just humans robots and possibly trees.
- Piss poor typical Bugthesda writing hiring people fresh out of High School who probably got all their experience writing for Fallout: The Frontier.
- Lack of ammo and access to healing. Food does f-ck all except enhance social skills and crafting and only Trauma Packs and Medi Packs are useful. But are extremely rare.
- Crafting system is boring and tedious without proper storage for your resources or the right perks.
- The Map is poorly designed, hurts my eyes. Why could the map not be like Mass Effect or Stellaris? What is so hard about a flat galaxy map?
- 16 TIMES THE MEDIOCRITY
- Almost nothing feels hand-crafted in this game. It is as if they just gave up and said "We can save money and just spend our budget on hype instead!" I guess it paid off if they were able to shill this and have a "biggest Xbox launch since Halo 2 supposedly."
- The characters can be ok but I don't care for them.
- VASCO is the worst companion. His carry weight is nothing special for a huge robot and all he does is stand on top of you in combat and get in your way. "I have the superior firepower" and then refuses to shoot a single bullet while soaking up bullets from NPCs confused.
- This game could have benefited from being able to use Q and E to lean left and right. But they obviously didn't care for that.
- So. Much. Walking.
- Sit down? Cut scene. Fly? Cut scene. Land? Cut scene. Docking? Cut scene.
- The cities don't have maps so you can't navigate effectively through them.
- Game feels like its almost 20 years old. Definition of a polished turd.
- Tried to copy No Man's Sky, Mass Effect, Deus Ex, EVEN FALLOUT AND OBLIVION ITS OWN GAMES and ended up with The Outer Worlds 2 basically.
