OMG!!! Where has this game been all my life?! I can’t believe I waited years to play it. Clearly, I’ve been making poor life choices. But hey, better late than never … and WHAT a wild ride it was!

The characters? Chef’s kiss. Watching Henry go from awkward blacksmith’s son to full-on hero was pure gold. Sure, he stumbled, got punched in the face (a lot), and probably smelled like a medieval armpit most of the time, but hey, we made it! Character development, baby.

Now … the combat system? Oh boy. Let’s just say it’s uniquely awful. I’ve seen smoother sword fights in toddlers' playgrounds. Grinding to level it up felt like a medieval gym membership from hell. And that LOCK-ON feature? Whoever invented that clearly wanted me to suffer. I don’t know if there’s a way to turn it off ... but I do know that once you’re surrounded, your only options are pray … or die fabulously.

But you know what? I still powered through to the end, and it left me thirsty for more. Lucky for me, KCD II was already out before I even started this madness. Time to dive back in and make more questionable decisions!

Green Hell. Oh boy … where do I even begin? It’s not just ‘hell’ It’s VIP front-row seating in the jungle’s version of a horror comedy! EVERYTHING ... and I mean everything ... wants you dead. It’s like Mother Nature herself woke up and chose violence.

One minute you’re fighting off angry locals, the next you’re being gnawed on by some hungry jungle beast, all while your sanity quietly packs its bags and leaves without saying goodbye. But wait ... there’s more! Infections, food poisoning, fevers ... basically the entire WebMD symptom checker in one tropical nightmare. It’s not a game, it’s purgatory with palm trees.

Now, I haven’t braved the single-player version yet. I value what little sanity I have left ... but I did dip my toes into multiplayer. Honestly? I prefer it that way. If I’m going down in this leafy apocalypse, I’d rather be screaming in terror together while holding someone’s hand … or at least blaming them when the coconut inevitably knocks me out. :)

This game’s gonna put your visual memory through the wringer, no doubt about it. But hey, I had a blast with this one ... those cheeky little monkeys were up to their usual monkey business. Absolute chaos … and I loved every second of it!

So far I am really enjoying this game. It is hauntingly beautiful. I love the art, the characters, the mini games, and the story thus far. I cannot wait to see how the story will unfold.

I am giving this a thumbs down simply for the fact that devs were too lazy to add the features of first person perspective to the appearance. She is clearly wearing a skirt. But when you glance down whilst in game, she has pants on. COME ON now. How difficult would it be to have your character wear the appropriate clothing it is advertised in. The older hunters have them. Why can't all these new ones have them added also? It feels cheap and rushed.

PLEASE consider adding all appropriate attire to your legendary hunters in future considering you are making money off them, and include IN-GAME appearances to match the skin advertised. That isn't asking for too much. This skin is not the ONLY one guilty of this. Crytek, you need to go through your list of Legendary Hunters and update the in-game appearances for them for the people using them. This ruins immersion for some.

As with previous games I have played by these developers, the game is lots of fun and also very relaxing. Especially after a stressful day or when you are feeling sad, happy, or whatever your mood, this game is the perfect companion and a MUST HAVE in your game collection. I can not recommend it enough. Give it a go.

The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.

Price is ... already TOO much!!!

The world seems sooooooooooooooooo empty. Who in the world designed this? They are seriously lacking any scope for the imagination. They had a good idea, but due to lack of creativity and pure laziness, there isn't anything exciting to see in this 'fantasy world.' Even the cities, would it kill you to have more color? Have 'things' like pot plants, petals or SOMETHING on the ground? Its stale and boring to say the least. If the world looked nice and if the characters were special where the player actually cared about them, it would make the world worth saving. The protagonist is fine. I don't have any problem with her. She is likeable, I won't lie. But this game overall needs a LOT of work, and the optimisation is appalling and horrible. Simply just horrible!

Well ... at least the sky looks nice.

Short but sweet. Fun game to pass some time and collect some easy achievements, however they don't count toward your profile. For $0.40 discounted, it was worth it. Love the music too. Very relaxing.
