I remember this from the demo. It was a very nice adventure game. Spooky "children of the corn meets Celtic/Norse setting" story. A story all about prejudice and social hatred. Told nicely with believable characters and not stereotypes. Moving the story really made you wonder about the hidden layer of reality behind the veil.

Control are very simple, yet the 'puzzles' during conversation are magnificent! Managing your stress while managing your willpower while managing your speech is a pure masterstroke! the creators of this game should be lauded for their clever ideas of interaction of gameplay!

I look forward to hunting achievements for this game.

Very much worth the full price.

Really interesting game for its setting. Its mostly a mix of a visual novel and a point and click adventure with little mini games to add tension and peril at key moments (though these can be adjusted in the difficulty). The setting itself (a creepy fantasy medieval village with only children who are very into a folk religion) is the key draw to this game, as it has its own logic and rules, it sets up very scary and tense moments for the characters. Artwork and music/sound do a really good job throughout.

If you want something just a bit more interactive than a visual novel but less puzzly than a point and click with a really interesting setting, this is a good one.

A very good horror visual novel with some elements of gameplay which seems to only exist to make the moment of tension more stressful... and it works. It builds a sense of dread very well and pull on your heartstrings just enough. It's not a very long game, but there is a couple of different ending including a rather elusive "good ending". I highly recommend the game.
