I don't remember myself, but my Protondb report says 7.0-5. Are you using Proton 8? I've had nothing but problems with 8 so far.
Maybe try Proton GE 7-55, and Proton GE 7-40 (this was the one out around the time I played Yakuza, I believe).
Steam also has 7.0-6 available as an option, assuming you haven't tried that one yet.

hello there, what proton version did you used for Yakuza Kiwami 2? I am using Fedora too but for the life of me I cannot get the game to work :(
