I will 100% recommend the game simply for it being an Ok free to play time waster. That actually respects allot of your time in terms of it's grind not being that bad or there being any form of pay to win.

However the content that been pouring out in season 1 has been extremly lackluster and uninspiring.. Like not even being acceptable as a side attraction gallery pot shooter from zelda type of content.

This combined with the game litterly just making ♥♥♥♥ up on the go in terms of it's story. Nothing being consistent or all that interesting. And the world itself feeling less and less like an MMO and more just like a singleplayer game with MMO tacked on the side for a checkmarker.

You dont need anyone except for prime wars. And prime wars are just big turret sections that exist to eat your endgame resources more or less.. the rewards you get from doing the end content is not much better if better at all. then what you get from the mid content.

In the end it all comes down to farming the limited Starcrome.. That you use to make builds and unlock stuff.. but if your like me.. you made 1 massive super OP build.. then you felt.. ok what now? im done? then yes pretty much.. starcrome is more or less useless unless you want to make more builds to waste more time.

The game litterly falls on it's face halfway through the marathon.. As it cracks and showcases horrible designe choices with lackluster progression.

And all on top of this we get the stupid wipes that exist for no reason. Like why? To make more balloon shooting events and more Refere a friend sign in bonus events? cause that pretty much what we got season 1.. and i presume they use there strongest season first to pull people in? so what's to come? even less inspired ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? I litterly see no reason to continue with this game. Nothing it done after the first 40h has felt like it mattered. And it's cracks are just appearing everywhere now.

What a shame.

Strong first impression. world really dropes you in the deep end. You need to figure things out yourself. And the enemy's hit hard.

Around an hour in to I can say the game strikes me with a diffculty. Not in terms of the game being to hard but in it's designe. I feel like its split in to 2 diffrent games that refuses to work togheter. One wants to be a fast paced skillshot throwing and gunning. And the other a slow paced stealth game where you slowly pick of 1 enemy at a time.

These two don't naturally match at all and the game knows it. As soon as you go from stealth to action all ♥♥♥♥ breaks lose and you die so fast it's not worth risking it. I feel i need to test the game some more but this is really odd to me.

30h It took me to finish the game and do everything with my First playthrough. I pretty much got all the possible achievments and endings out of my saves and my first run. If i would want to 100% the game i would sadly need to do like 5 more playthroughs. And there's not enough variation to incentives that.

Overall I loved this game. It brought me allot of joy and I don't regret anything about it. the story was a natural told wonder with allot of character and intrigues. I feel the game very well Represented and overall Greyzone instead of actually just giving you black and white outcomes in terms of morality choices.

The combat even if some of it rely on % and RNG luck. Was fun and tackeling the diffrent fights and builds made for a interesting puzzel.

The characters in most cases felt alive and well written. Even if some names for me blended togheter simply cause of my lack of understanding for polish and eastern Europen culture. Same time the ingame DOssier and journals/codex gives you enough help to get past that issue.

The only issue i have about the game is that.. A long run of the game was around 25-30h. A rushed run where you skip things can probably be done in 12-15h. The game has 12 diffrent endings and I only got like 4 of them by saveing at certain checkpoints. The game itself doesn't have enough variation. So sadly there's not much diffrence except for the ending itself. Up to that point your going through allot of things you seen before.

Same issue that theres only enough +flaws and points to max out 1 maybe 2 powers in 1 playthrough. If you like me focused all over you maybe max out 1 of them. And since you litterly need to do every side quest and every task to get points. Meaning if you want the achievment to do all of them max out you need like 5 diffrent playthoughs.

This is only an issue if you like me was in the mood at first to 100% the games achievments. If you plan to playthough 1 time then i doubt you be bothered by this.

The game if i need to put a numer is a clear 7/10.. It's a fantastic story and interesting world. Only held back by it's own AA limitations where you clearly see it was a smaller studio that made it. I'm looking forward to a Thaumaturge 2.. Maybe within the settings of WW2.

Honestly.. Maybe its harsh to play a game for 25min and then give up on it? But honestly this felt very lackluster. The shooting was bland. the AI felt braindead. The menues where frustrating. The game felt honestly way way to early to even be on early access. I feel this games first impression has been damaged. This is sad.

As a Hardcore fan of the turn based games. I really 100% recommend this game so far. The prologe even if very restricted was a blast to play through. The game's atmosphere is really giving me Darkwatch Vibs. And so far this is looking to be a very tight turn based wildwest experience.

I played a bunch of the alphatest before It was pulled from steam. I was honestly happy when it came back.

But allot of my fears are showing true sadly.
I can't really recomend the game. As fun as it can be. I feel the game is a far cry to the alpha playtests. There game doesnt really do much to stand out now. Since they changed extractions and how easy it is to just PVE down 2-3 rooms then leave without ever seeing another player. i feel the main focuse of the game has shifted. And if you actually participate in pvp. Then you fall victim to horrible balancing and more or less pay to win. Some may argue it's a Demo but honestly they should just sold the game for 30$ and not had any microtransactions as of now. Your so limited as a free to play, player to the point of feeling you got access to half a game. Any time your dumb to enter a higher tier dungeon you be going in with your low tier gear vs people that are stacked in everything. The mystery is gone. Now meta builds and wikipedia cloned settings rule the corridors. Combined that they sell cosmetic skins that actually add stats? Just is mind blowing to me. The fact that buying the game doesnt actually cost 30$. It cost 30$ of there microtransaction currency. Something thay put in place to bypass steams refund system. Since steam warns you there be no refunding any purchases of currency. This screams shady ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Anyone not seeing the redflag must be Lobotomized.

The market and economy is more or less a joke aswell. Since you cant access the good vendors without doing obscure quest that rolls down to luck of finding random trash items. You seem able to access the player market. At least some parts of it. But all it honestly does is make me feel looting is pointless. Why bother to go out and risk life to find a rare armor or weapon when you can just farm easy gold in the first 3-4 rooms then go buy it? It baffles me that they made a system that litterly encourages you to not play the game. I got close to 1500g in less then 3h. Nothing i can buy in the regular vendors cost more then like 30-50g. Im so bothred right now i hardly pick up valubles. And when gold doesnt excite you anymore.. you know you got an issue.

I feel hardly no rush or need to play the actual game? not like before? SInce all loot is easily obtainable and gold is all you farm. Runs become less Adrenalin filled and more just clean up chores with some ♥♥♥♥♥ pve.. with some unbalanced pvp on top when you feel like it?

And if you for any reason feel the need to voice this concerns you be greeted by such a toxic waste of a community. That it makes Leage of legends Salt mine seem nice.

Now i figure some if not allot of people will find enjoyment out of this. but im pretty sure this game will be dead in 1-2 year. (As dead I dont mean gone. I mean with a very small playerbase.) Simply cause the track record of the devs showcases that they dont really got a clue what they are doing. that on top of massive use of store bought assets and the ongoing lawsuit that may or may not kill it? Who knows? but I doubt I be giving them 30$ for this. Such a shame.

Alright around 6h and I just finished the first true act of the main story. The bounty hunters journey. It was fun. but same time I see the issue of the game becoming repedetiv. As sure as the game suprised me many times with random and rare events. Allot of the times i was greeted by the same 3-4 outlaws ambushing me or just wolfs/coyotes attacking or the same useless roaming trader that sold junk i did not need.

But the game is still a massive thumbs up for me. the amount of smart variation to allot of the task you be given. How just exploring around allows you at plenty of times to get not one or two but somtimes three or four ways to deal with a task. It allows you to think and be smart. This on top of a morality system that i not yet explored. I wonder why the game doesnt have a big sandbox mode and a modding community?

I really miss Absolver. I feel that game scratched a good itch for me. Sad that it never blew up like it deserved. But Sifu is a good successor. They learned from there mistakes and taken all there experience and put it in to one game. And made one of the most satisfying beat em up to date. The story is good for what it represent. There's enough variation to make it flow and you never want to stop. The amount of challenges added afterwards gives replayabillity.

Sifu is a good recomendation for any fan of the Hong kong/kung fu sort of movies. It takes inspiration while also delivering it's own take on things. A solid 8/10 for me. A game I played for about 70h when it was a Epic exclusive. I went back for it on Steam to 100% all achievments. Now I await the next one.

Alright. Around 30+ Hours. And I feel I got a good idea where I stand with the game.

The game is a Clear thumbs up. With a big Red flag of let it cook. As fun as the game can be from time to time. It's really lacking in allot of regards. The whole. It's early access what did you expect argument may be valid. but that means we should also encourage and be straight with the facts that the game is nowhere near as finished as it should be for any playable form. But i will give my view on some of the main parts of the game.

The combat itself is really well done. Other then some wierd jank. Like an enemy dying from 1 shot then suddenly refusing to die from 10 shots to the face when you shoot another one? Same goes with difficulty.

Things run smoothly as long as you play on the lower pop servers. Some rubberbanding may occure. but if your sad to go in on a full server. you can at some points hardly leave the base.

The gameplay loop at first felt nice. Quest required you to read them and think. Check coordinates and figure out what to do. Until you done that for 2-3 quest and you notice 99.9% of all players are using an interactive map. That has all locations and all quest uploaded meaning everything is static. Even if this form of aid can be nice to avoid frustration. it taken away 90% of the pleasure in quest/tasks. All of them now ends up with you.. calling a Helicopter. waiting 3-5 min for it to come pick you up. Riding out to wherever for another 5-10min. Walking to a location. Where its 50% chance the task area is just dead since other players cleared it already. Or 50% your alone there and your forced to face the enemy AI that goes from Timmy to Terminator and back and forth within seconds. I never once had a fight with an AI where i felt it was fair. either they are blind and can't hit the side of a barn. Or they are ubersoldat that fires a burst and hits you 5 times in your head from 100m away. There's no inbetween.

The Exfil helicopter system at first felt immersive but loses it's charm and becomes some sort of painful Uber ride system where your forced to waste time. So your spamming the call heli button for 10 min until you get told you need to wait 10 min then ride back for 10 min. And suddenly you used 30 min of waiting. This system really needs to be reworked. There needs to be incentives to be aware in PVE as in PVP. Patrols to shoot. Crashed helis and missions to spot and get rewards from. The heli rides right now could litterly be removed from the game and replaced with a telportation device. it would almost be better.

As for PVP. I played 30h of pve and 2h of pvp. PVP Is a trainwreck. Not just in the terms of balancing. But in the terms of everything. Since everyone duped money and gear no one needs anything. People dont loot corpses or even loot you. They shoot you then spawn camp your body in hope you come backs so they can shoot you again. They will let your gear despawn. They dont need it. This combined with Shared faction Exfil locations. And the incentive to camp. Makes for a dreadful experience that's more frustrating then challenging. This on top that there''s no punishment for teamkilling other then a wet slap on the wrist. So your litterly marked on the map permanently for your own team that may hunt you down simply for the ♥♥♥♥♥ and fun of it.

PVE has it's issues but it works currently better. Even if limited you can get the sort of cool coop Ghost recon experience. if you can jump through the hurdles of it.

I could probably forget and forgive allot of this. If not for the insane and terrible designe of the tasks. On top of having to go 20-30 min on helicopter uber rides. Some missions can be litterly just ride out to LZ. walk 200m. Mission complete.. Go back to HQ.. Hand in quest. Get a new Part 2 version where you need to go back and walk 200m more then last time! like wtf!! why not just radio in the missions? i get if i have items to deliver back? but just the recon or find this location? Or verify if a corpse is dead? This on top of every rince and repeat ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quest that forces you to kill 20x enemies.. then go back and forth kill a boss.. back and forth PRESS E on some stupid obscure prop item? back and forth over and over.. you never feel like your doing anything meaningful? All the quest/tasks feel like placeholders for somethign else? I really hope that's the case.

for me the game is like a 6/10.. Its cooking. it has massive potential. But other then when i play with my friends. I feel the game is gathering dust simply cause its to much of a hassel and downright boring at most of the time. I feel the game needs more to do. More interactive things happening in the world. Not just a ♥♥♥♥ tone of nothingness with some small POI (points of interest) Locations that has a few Dumb AI standing around.

Now we dont know what the future holds. We heard about day and night cycles. How the AI will have rutines. ANd the groundzero stuff thats non existing. The game is clearly only 20% done just as they claimed. So for sure with another 30-50% on it and it wont even be recognizable. Sadly tho im afraid that they pushed it to early access to early and we may risk seeing a game get a catch from reality in terms of actual limitations. But thats just my theory.

Im glad for the fun i got out of it. But now I wait in hope to see where it goes from now.

A strong first impression. I was not expecting the level of quality. The gameplay is a very polished xcom like game. It resembles Mutant year zero: Road to eden allot. Or wasteland 2-3. You walk around normally until you enter combat and it becomes turn based.

The world is also very interesting combined with an artistic style i find fascinating. I did not expect this level of quality from a game i never heard about before I just saw it on steam.

I need to play more before I can say anything else about it.
