This game is just overall bad. Poor balance (cover mechanic does not exist or is not implemented properly) - if you thought that in xcom aliens hit you behind the full cover, wait till you play this game: cover literally doesnt do anything. Weapons are just unbalanced - some are unplayable like sniper rifles. The idea of skills being on cooldown between fights is just dumb - you travel entire map between 2 locations and next fight still you cannot use any abilties. Ah and forget about "tactical approach". Enemies mostly use their overbuffed hp bars to rush straight on you, rarely see any abilities from them except for "summon more walking bag of potatos".

I completed the game and liked it. But 1 thing ruined it.

A game like this is all about building your team and characters.
So when the story takes 1 away from you, even only for a period.
The devs takes all we work for - it is very bad for the story, that part.
And so whiny and badly written.
It is the reason why I will NOT replay this.

Mutant Year Zero, I have played 3 times, and will go again - it is a much better game.
Just too bad all items are fixed, - that game need a random mode.
Random generation is why I have 2K+ hours in Xcom2 - every game is different.

Devs - dont ♥♥♥♥ with the characters we build. Story is not the main thing here!!
