Best game of all time, if you don't own it, theres something wrong with your brain and should go see a tharapist.

Storyline is good, voice over and animations for voice over are on point.

combat is like a derpy dark souls 1 clone and the animations do not go in sync properly with the movement... no real stealth system except for you slow walking to your victim..

Short review for short playtime.

My current rating is a 7/10

Do I recommend it? For the pricetag of a triple A game fully released not polished I do not. Animations and combat should have been thought out more before release, this to me in it's current state is at the tail end of an EA build.

Will change my review if stuff gets polished and is actually worth the price tag. Get it at sale.

I know it says 1.8 hours but i played quite a bit before switching to steam, sad that the dev stopped working on it (or in his words, slowly working on it)

If your looking at constant new features or bug fixed, don't get this game.

but at the same time the current state of the game is very much complete (in my eyes anyways)

if it wasn't for the bugs i would say this is a polished ready to play game.

game in my opinion is worth 12.99. if your expecting that 12.99 to help continue the development of this game? don't expect it Dev mostly took the money and ran sadly.

So i been back in the world of conan for awhile now, and since release this game has been AMAZING! no more lag, small amount of bugs, and all the annoying people! now if only i had friends....

I heavily give this a thumbs up totally worth a try now that its not a lagfest :)


[old review] I don't normally give games bad reviews, but when I do, i give them 2 thumbs down.

with that said,

I had high hopes for this game, and yes I know its early access, and give it a chance yadda yadda, but its been 4 months.... and the core gameplay is still broken, servers are still SUPER unoptomized, i cannot enjoy a game that has "warpers" in it, they need to stay in subnautica where they belong!

i could see this game being another ARK a couple years down the road, but tbh this game shouldn't have been released to EA until it was at least CLOSE to ARK optimization.

I will revisit this game probably a year or so later.

no, not really.. i wish i was paid to write reviews. lol (got enough games to do it.)

I was on the fence about getting this game but after just a few hours of play and making my "Alibangbang" race i was hooked.

i don't know what it is about this game, i know theres tons of similer style 4x games out there, but this one just stands out the best

every play thru i did was different (never finished but played multiple games with different friends) each time my research options were different, giving me a different style of play each time, researching the corpses of your enemys for accelerated research is a huge plus!

the ability to design your ship the way YOU want it is so awesome! i just wish there was more body styles (i smell DLC hopfully??)

I have yet to finish one game but the little tidbits of the universe are so nice to read, a nice break from the "build this, research this, survey this" it can get a bit annoying though when you get tidbits of the universe in the middle of a heated battle though, lol.

so in the end: YES i recommend this game to anyone that will listen! recommended it to all my friends now im recommending it to all of you!

P.S please paradox fix the wierd multiplayer bug (could possibly be on STEAMS end) where you have to do a Internet search before you can join a friends game (via steam messenger)

long story short, the end game grind is useless and unfun.

I just wanted to PvP and this games style of pvp is utterly trash, tons of hackers, and if they're not hackers they're people who exploited the game to get ALL end game gear in a matter of a few hours.

thanks for wasting my time... was enjoyable until level 30

day 2: hey i can merge you for more monies?!? COOL!
day 3: hmm... if i can merge 2 what if i merged 3?!?!? (makes slime monster)

(slime monster eats whole farm)

...
DAMNIT!

20/10 would have whole farm devoured again....

Okay so i gave this game a shot, and i will admit it is very nicely done, but in the long run it was very depressing, after all the endings i went through none ended happily, kinda makes me think this game was built around the Developers (or someones) interest for someone they loved but slipped away and never chose to persue it even with the multiple choices givin...

i give it a 8/10 for lack of happy ending, too many sad games out there..

Okay, so first played this game it was fun, exciting. BUT a few MAJOR flaws that turn me off from this game.

First flaw: You're paying to play this game, then OH WHATS THIS? Pay to Win Rev ships that have 15 second invuln and can shread through a heavy in a few volleys while you cannot do crap to them. MAJOR turn off, why am i going to pay for a game that has PAY TO WIN IN IT?! BAD flaw!

Second flaw: NO PLAYER BASE!!! i've played with the same people 3 days in a row! not that its a bad thing, but it is when 2 or 4 of those players all have pay to win Rev ships so they just onslaught you with nothing to do to them, and you cannot say "oh i'll just go play on another server without these pay to win people" but uh.... can't cause they're the only ones playing...

long story short, i do NOT recommend this game until they do some nerfs to these OP pay to win ships. if they fix this i will change my review until then i do NOT recommend this game to anyone!

(at time of review 2,690 players reviewed this game as MOSTLY POSITIVE)

but where are those 2,690 people? my guess is pissed off at the fact of pay to win in a pay to play game.

please edge games fix this, i really wanna enjoy it... but i can't...
