I wish i could give this a positive review, but sadly if you have a gen 11 or gen12 CPU you cannot play this without lagging hardcore.

Will update this post if devs decide to fix this issue. games unplayable with the severe performance loss.

UPDATE:
From the help of information provided on the descussion form with similar problems i had i was able to get the game running. If your having stuttering issues / unable to start issues follow this:

1. For no start issue: look on youtube for drug dealer not starting and follow the steps for getting it started
2. If you boot it and its doing excessive amounts of lagging/stuttering change your resolution to 1920x1080 for some reason the game HATES anything above that resolution.

I will still be leaving my review negative until DDS provides a problem free experience and i'm not required to have a masters in computer science to run the game.

wow..... i bought this to play with my friends, not be in full control and let my friends dictate my moves and choices. if i wanted a twitch style multiplayer i would just watch it on twitch or youtube.

waste of money, thanks supermassive to bait and switching saying "multiplayer coming out in 2 weeks" and then release a useless multiplayer mode.

learned my lesson, not buying a supermissive game until i see the co-op.

Before you knock this review please hear out what i have to say.

I want to give this game a good review, it is a good game don't get me wrong and a lot has been put into the game to give back to the community on a promise they failed to do.

Now for the reason of my negative review, For the most part this is a single player game with multiplayer functionality, and slowly adding more multiplayer functionality as they go.

The problem i have currently is they are forcing player to "wait around" for HOURS or you have to get off the game and wait a few hours for the "settlement" stuff to build.

They initially brought this in with the alien ships, which i was okay with because you can fly around exploring while you wait for the ship that doesn't really have a impact on the game to "mature". but then they added settlements and put that same crap on the settlements and this is slowly turning into a mobile game with wait times.

I would prefer to give players the option to skip the hour long waits because some people just want to build their settlements since they completed the game or just not interested in exploring anymore. i'm fine with a 1 to 2 minute wait time but the 2 to 8 hours is just insane, it makes me leave the game cause i lost interest.

Unless they remove this mobile game real time wait system or give us an option to "sleep" and wait the time off, i cannot give this game a good review.

sadly, game is dead has not seen any updates for over 5 years.... would have loved playing this game as it showed promise. another EA failure to add to the pile.

great game since the update! now all i need is friends to play with me on my server...

Why am i still playing this game?
