this is a remake to the 2008 dead space from viseral games and with the remake itself made by EA MOTIVE,while I am a first timer with dead space and i always wanted to jump and play the 2008 original but either never got the chance or had bigger games in mind and then back in 2021 they announced the remake and while i wanted this to be good but EA immediately came to my mind,everybody knows how EA killed the series and the studio who made it in the decade that followed to this remake,so i was worried just as i was hyped for it,then the game came out and the reviews came in and in short i just bought the game,again my first time playing the game and already with the quality of the original the remake only take and make every thing bigger.for good and bad

THE HIGH W'

+the gameplay is untouched in every regard despite the weapons in the og the only good weapon was the plasma cutter,in the remake all of the weapons will be and will have thier use.
+i don't think i have to say this but this is a shot for shot remake so it's very loyal to the original story and that is just fine for me as a guy who didn't play the original,in a world where a remake means to give a few changes to the story and somethimes even completely revamp the story,this remake is a nice loyal fit.
+the game is stun looking even if sometimes it comes with a cost
+the sound design is no less then genius truly other box where the remake improves on the original
+the usg isimura itself is very different from the original,in the og dead space the ship was scraped to levels unlike the remake which is an interconnected one big ship you can explore without thinking about the main path with side quests who only focus on improving the story and the also telling stories about other servivors of the isihimura,for me this is the biggest improvment from the original and i think is a change for the better.

THE BIG FAT L

The was very buggy and always stutter back when it launched i mean like pretty bad sometimes even unplayable at all,since they putted some pacthes that make it very stable but the game should have came out like this in release, that's a very sad trend nowdays which is again awful.

overall as a game this is incredible but as a remake it is perfect for new players like me and for returning players that will get to expirience dead space in a much improved way.
