I will consider any trade that is reasonable. 1:1+, I am looking at quality/value/quantity/inventory. I accept gems, backgrounds, emoticons, etc... If I send you a counter offer, READ THE MESSAGE, it is more important than the counter offer itself. If I decline- Your offer was insufficient and your inventory settings are on private, therefore I can not send you a counter offer -or- the item is no longer available for trade, but thanks for the offer any.
Currently I review every trade offer one by one. As time passes I will create and refine suggested trade offer guidelines.

Sick and Tired of 1:2 or worse rates?!?!?
  • I will trade at better rates, but still looking for a small margin in return- either value, quantity, or increased inventory spread.

  • I like to trade same sets 1:1+gems (or junk card, emoticon, background.)
    Or 1:1 same set if I have a duplicate and you have a card I am lacking.
    (In the future when my inventory is bigger I will trade same set 1:1)

  • I will consider cross-set 1:1 on an individual basis.

  • Favorite trades are 2:3, 3:4, or even 4:5 of similar value cards.

  • If you bring low tier cards for higher value cards DO NOT expect the above
    trade ratios.

  • Other Considerations: Number of cards in a set, Past and Present Market
    Value, Demand (Volume of trades/market purchases)

  • I will buy cards for gems, but rates vary.

  • I will even trade 1+:1 if you want low value cards.

  • I do not add traders to my friends list!

I created this group so people could find me easily for the best trade deals out there and avoid the hassle of spams and the market/trade forums. Also, you may pick my brain. If you need help understanding the world of Steam Trading cards let me know. Or, If you have something to contribute along the same lines, by all means feel free!

Email Trade Confirmation, Account Hijacking, and Phishing Bot Links...

***New Steam Privacy Setting may affect your trading!***
Now added to the My Privacy Settings link (Under Edit Profile) is an option to Enable or Disable email confirmation of Steam trades.
  • Enabled will require you to confirm each trade via email.
  • Disable allows normal trading.
Beware!, the Disabled setting states Steam Support will not assist you in anyway with lost inventory items if your account has been hijacked and/or comprimised by using infected links! (I wonder if Steam Support would assist if the Enabled setting was selected???...!!!)

The easiest way to avoid having your account hijacked or your inventory being fished are:
  • Do not accept random invites! Especially low level or private profiles. Many times these profiles contain codes to hijack your account.
  • Do not click on random links! Many times these will come from chat messages from friends whom have already clicked on one. Their inventory was too small to bother and/or the hacker is trying to spread the phishing bot via their friends list before striking. These links come in various formats usually .png files or short wierd url addresses. They may be accompanied by a message, usually written in very poor English, saying 'look what drop me in game bro,' 'have inventory you like to trade maybe,' or 'problem with your trade link, please click my inbox here.' Don't be a fool! Protect your CPU!

There are some strange card slots that appeared under my badge tab for a set called "mysterious". It doesn't seem to belong to any game, the badge bears no name, and the cards are just called "mystery 1" to "mystery 10".
I assume this is some kind of steam event, does anyone have this slot too ?

Or check the Gun Monkey's forum occasionally. There are usually at least a couple of people giving away the free keys there, though they get snatched up pretty quickly.

The dev is giving out free keys if you can't find a server within several minutes. Several have passed through my hands. I will let you know the next one I have.
