If you've been invited or have just stumbled upon this group by yourself, here's what Extralife is about:

On an Autumn Saturday each year since 2008, tens of thousands of gamers have joined together to save the lives of local kids in a celebration of gaming culture that we call Extra Life. From console games to tabletop RPG's to even lawn sports, Extra Life gives people that love to play a chance to do what they love to save lives and make a difference.

This year I will be participating in this event.

Whether you know me personally or not, we are here for the same cause, to help those that have been less fortunate than us. Each, and every donation goes to the kids. I want to start out by saying thank you to everyone that is here today donating, and supporting our cause. It touches my heart.
I'm not here for popularity. That's not my business. I'm here to help, if possible. Everyone. These kids deserve it. I hope this message meets millions around the world, but I can only hope. If you're viewing this, you're already helping. If you can't help by donating, simply share this around, and it will help just as much. Everything counts, and every one of you can increase our chances of reaching our goal, and hopefully, one day, raise enough to help for each and every one of these children. Just imagining this, that there children out there, that can't help themselves is sickening, in any form, whether from starvation or from an illness. If the roles were reversed, you'd wish for help the same as them. I'll see you all on the second.

My dream is to help, and to give EVERYONE the same opportunity to pursue theirs.
