Proton: Demo won't launch

Demo doesn't start when run with Proton. There's a message window that pops up far too briefly to see, and then the game keeps running but no window ever appears for the game. I'm willing to help troubleshoot.

I was hooked from start to finish.
It felt like going down a Geocities
rabbit hole.

At the end of the day, we are all Alan

Please make sure to explore this game as thoroughly as you can because there's so much to discover in such a microcosmic experience. From my perspective, I encountered a game that is a fantastic love letter to the "AI of yesterday" and how our technological forefathers had such optimism for its eventual birth. This game makes me hope we do achieve true AI and learn to work together in awesome harmony.

Play this game if you like to ponder existential questions, have a love of corporate satire, cats, glitchcore, and retro tech, enjoy non-conformity, or just enjoy thought experiments.

And remember, think happy :)

Interesting short game about questioning reality and yourself pretty much.
A bunch of things to explore if you decide to go deeper.
Can you define which one is human and which is not. And what makes you think you're a human?
That one screamer scared the hell out of me

Flickering Screen

You need to add an option to remove the screen flicker. That's a major epilepsy hazard. I couldn't look at the screen for more than a minute before I had to Alt+F4.

the game still installed and i can run it when i double click the icon even after uninstalling it from steam.

AI support?

I was wondering if this game is supported to be played by an AI? I started to not play games due to having too much work. I'm really burnt out and have such a big backlog on steam, so I use AI to play games for me. I was wondering if it's possible to use an LLM to play this game? If not, would you consider adding AI support?...
