Proton: Demo won't launch

Demo doesn't start when run with Proton. There's a message window that pops up far too briefly to see, and then the game keeps running but no window ever appears for the game. I'm willing to help troubleshoot.

A clever game with a wonderful sense of retro-style. Be sure to click around and soak in all the atmosphere and details hidden about.

QUALIA

Quilia is a creating game which explores machine learning, consciousness and what it means to be alive. it takes the form of a survery where you answer if a string of text is made by AI or human. this game is possibly one of my top favorite games and i highly recommend it. the game may seem simple but by the end of the game you will be asking yourself what it means to be alive and might even make say sorry to chatGPT.

Length:

the game has 6 endings which are hard to reach but worth the time to reach them. it took around 2 hours to reach the ending with help from a YT video after getting stuck

difficulty:

the game isnt that hard but if you really want to 100 percent it, it will be challenging but enjoyable.

Story:

the game may be short but it has a great story going into depth of the Main character you play as and the history behind the creation of the company that runs the program

enjoyablility:

10/10. would play again. really fun and unique gameplay

overall rating:

10/10. on my top indie game list

Fantastically written narrative game with some analog horror elements. Without giving much away, if you have any sort of love of 80s tech, cassette futurism, analog horror, or existentialism, give this one a try.

Flickering Screen

You need to add an option to remove the screen flicker. That's a major epilepsy hazard. I couldn't look at the screen for more than a minute before I had to Alt+F4.
