what does the fist symbol do/mean?

Just downloaded the demo, looks like an interesting game! The tutorial seemed pretty good, but I don't understand what the "+1 fist" symbol does or means? Cards like Nightshift gives you them in exchange for Luminoil. But I don't see anything visibly happen when I get one?...

Cool demo, feels like it's missing something.

I'm not sure what, but in terms of depths, player agency, options, randomness, synergy/strategy, variety or different mechanics... it feels like something is missing to give it depth. Right now it's purely just mathematical optimization, and not much creative problem solving. Maybe more interactability with the tiles? Different aerostation upgrades/types that disperse the fog in different ways? Things like that....

Clicking on the Aerostation to start the game

Why is this a thing? When I start a map, clicking the aerostation only exists for the sake of having to do it...all this adds is pointless clicks.

Restart map/Restart turn

Hello, First off, this game almost perfect. So many things are wonderful. There is just one major feature that makes me stop playing the game. My most recent game I was on map 7 or 8, two hours into a run, and I hit town hall upgrade. I had miscalculated and was 12/-14 and lost the next turn. I went back to the mid map screen and just felt like crap because I wanted a perfect run and lost it on a silly mistake. And then I looked at my 7 to 8 completed maps and said "I don't want to shamefully play those...
