This is a lot like the game Banished except with a military aspect that was lacking in the old game. A good deal of fun if you like city builders with all sorts of variables and challenging problems for the survival of your people. Highly recommended!

The game has been in early access for two years now, and it still lacks meaningful progression. While basic features like building and farming are present, the gameplay feels shallow. You can quickly become wealthy by selling rocks and planks at the trader station, and then buy everything you need from there on out, but there's little else to do afterward once your town is established.

Several aspects are frustrating as well. For example, placing a hunter's station results in constant notifications of being attacked every time an animal is hunted. With five hunter stations, these alerts become almost nonstop.

The villagers are coded well for harvesting, but their behavior regarding desirability is problematic. They frequently move out of buildings, and when I check, the buildings are still at tier 2 desirability.

The enemy AI is poorly designed, consistently targeting the same few buildings. As a result, placing these buildings in the center of your town makes you nearly invincible since the enemies get destroyed by towers or guards as they approach.

Overall, as a city sim or medieval builder, this game is underwhelming. Save your money for the full release, which might be another five years away at this point, and hope it improves by then.

Find a way to get gold otherwise you will not make it. I could not get the gold mined.

Would not recommend. The game looks really nice at first sight but it is really complicated with too many variables and no tutorial, basically. Has a lot of potential, though. Hope it gets better.

Boring

Don't buy early access games. Would you buy a mostly finished car? Or a half built house? NO! Of course not, so don't encourage these greedy developers to start asking for money when they haven't finished the job. Wait! And yes, you may never see the game finished, but so what?! You would have avoided another abandoned, unfinished game. They seem so amazing at first, with big plans. They're going to cover multiple genres, span several gameplay types, and be the most awesome thing ever! But in the end it get condensed and pigeon holed into a generic knockoff of some garbage game. Find something else that's complete. Give your money to people that finish their work.

The combat in this game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid.

Whelp with almost 200 hours of game play I can say, Its a very fun and exciting strategy game! Is it perfect? Of course not. But if you like to waste hours of time building and making a city its right up your alley. I love how the team has continued to add support with new add on's and listens to the community. I don't think any strategy game head will be disappointed! Cant wait for the future of the game and looking forward to my next 200 hours!!
